I believe the wheel speed sensor is in the front hub. I would look at the other wheel speed sensors first not the one putting on the brake. The best thing would be a scanner and software that could monitor the frequency the wheel sensor are outputtings while driving. If one is shifting around or...
When I had my ecodiesel it worked good in the cold temperatures. I did add winter additives to the fuel just as I do in all my diesels.
I also used the winter front much of the time I saw much faster warmups and better mileage.
When you saw an oil puddle on your driveway did you pop the hood and check the oil level????
Why in the heck would you drive your truck when you should have know it was low on oil???
If the plug was missing it fell out after leaving your driveway.
Yes, the individual who changed your oil...
I have always been a fan of red tractors, I grew up on IH red and Allis Chalmers orange, with a bit of Ford blue thrown in for measure.
There are a few green ones on the farm now but I still prefer red ones, I also have a blue New Holland I just picked up for another driveway tractor.
That is my driveway 14-16 degrees of slope or 24-25% our vehicles see it every day;
studded snows and fingers crossed at times.
Here's a video from a few years ago going down ,
With all of your roostering and prancing around you aren't proving anything.
BLD, Brake Limited Differential is a very poor limited slip or diff lock from what I have observed on many RAM pickups over the years.
You really want to test it get yourself some 3 foot long pieces of 2x6 or similar...
It is a shame that these nice trucks from RAM have such P --- Poor Engineering and design.
A simple thing like chains and transfer cases that can be worked.
Not a single soul has mentioned the best way, well I guess one mentioned a good way.
Remove all these catalytic converters.
I'd prefer a different method myself. Change the laws to stop protecting the damned thief's,
then add a motion sensor and a handy 12 gauge eradicate a few scumbags and...
When I bought my spare 18" rims I paid $250 for them I think, it's been awhile, then I mounted lightly used Nokian Hakkapeliitta studded tires that I gave $400 for
We, as myself and others that I have worked with on the farm have broken several chains. I have seen a couple that tryed to fly,
however I believe almost all of those involved the chain getting jerked. The ones that broke from steady pulls did not fly very much at all.
Most all the broken ones...
I have been stuck a couple of times myself and have unstuck a few other vehicles.
I've never had a stretch strap or stretchable rope, I have looked at them a few times and I may end up
buying one some day.
I have always tightened up the chain or tow strap then gotten into the throttle a bit.
It...
The 19's have a slightly different t-case from the previous rams, very similar but a bit different.
On both of them once the electrical activation has been done on t-case front output there is a ball and ramp
function that will increase the clamping force on the clutch pak. The more traction the...
Yes the shafts turn, but the axle disconnect allows the ring and pinion to not be spun, the spider gears in the differential do most of the running,
when the axle disconnect is engaged the ring and pinion are spinning and the front driveshaft is turning in sync with the rest of the drivetrain.
I'm pretty sure you are not correct, as I recall from reading and studying these systems rather intensely after getting my first one with the auto mode a 2015 RAM which I was definitely fed up with with it's p poor transfer case, I was extremely leery of the newer model in the 19's. The 15 in...
When you are in auto 4wd the front axle connector is engaged so both of your front axle shafts are turning from the tires rolling,
the transfer case will not apply the wet clutch pack until the computer decides you have rear wheel slippage.
When it detects slippage it will send a variable...
The "auto" 4wd in the RAM 1500 is a simple computer controlled wet clutch in the transfer case.
When in 2wd high all the power is sent to the rear axle.
When you select "auto" 4wd the computer engages the front axle disconnect, and you are driving around in 2wd still
with all the power going to...
I've had the seat belt extenders in my 19 for a few years it does eliminate many of the safety nazi bugs but not all of them.
I put my snow tires on today went over to my brothers to use his lift. We are both big guys so we have to get out of the trucks before they are in position to be lifted...
