LUYED LED- New (Frugal) LED Reverse Light.

I still haven’t done this on my truck, but I put one on the wife’s car. Worked out well.

I’m wondering what’s the best mounting position to prevent drive thru car washes from ripping them off.

Anyone had this issue?

I only use brushless car washes, but my pics are in post #78 and they're still solid (I took the tie wraps off a couple years ago).

FYI: The new LUYEDs I installed on my son's Colorado are a new design where you can adjust the angle of the light and lock in.

Thanks. The one on my wife’s car can be adjusted as well.

I am going with this setup; they make an LED pod without the screw tabs that should fit perfect at the same mounting location. Aluminum housing, broad light pattern. Highly recommend!

So while these lights are constructed well, they just didn't provide the amount of light that I thought they would in all situations. So I bought a set of light brackets made by Diode Dynamics for a clean installation. If you order them from Auto Zone, you save the freight cost. And a set of Nilight lights off eBay, similar to the lights that Diode Dynamics sells. They come in square and round applications. THIS combination did what I was trying to accomplish!
