They had my wife do the same thing. Mine is a 2025 lonestsr w lvl2 equipment group.

But like, no, I didn’t take it off any sweet jumps, Battery problems again this yr. Seemed too soon at 3 yrs, but with all the tech maybe not too soon for 4 yrs.

Puzzling thing to me with an eTorque is like why when the reg battery has issues does it act like any other truck? Like 2wice now, the truck has not restarted in a stop/start sitch, and I thought the eTorque battery took over for that nonsense. So once I put it back in N, got the damn e-brake off, and restarted manually, there’s battery lights on and the meter is at like 7-8 volts.

I know we never hear from the eTorque battery on the dash, so just curious if I should have that one checked as well?

Probably wouldn’t hurt to get it checked out. I wonder how much of it could be the MGU vs the ETorque battery itself? I personally turn AS/S off every single time I get in the truck so naturally have not ran into such an issue. So far only replaced my 12v battery once.

Haha funny. In other cars I always turn it off. But the eTorque one doesn’t bother me. Tbh I hardly notice it. And it has only done this 3x ever. Once last year in the bitter cold when I wasn’t driving it as much. And again this year in the cold. (Was like 14 last night or something.)

I have the 12v on a trickle rn and she’s acting right again but yeah, I’ll probly take it to my shop and get an opinion on the 12v.

Have you had the truck plugged in to see if there is an update available for this? At one point there was a Hybrid Control Processor update available for that exact issue.

Installed hood brackets and Auxbeam 3” pod lights.




I had to fuss with the hood to fix the alignment but that wasn’t too bad (not pictured here). Also did my first donut in the snow with the truck.

Strapped 4 steel wheels from a tradesman to a Harbor Freight hitch-mounted cargo carrier and drove across MI. I had straps running from front bed tie downs, over tailgate, and to the back of rack to give it some bonus stability/support and to keep it from flopping around. It rode great!

3 years is about when i change my batteries.
test your starter battery, see if it's still good?

shenanigans happened.


Manually Removed most of the external ones and filled a box:

About 90lb.

Dumped it on the grass.
And $20/ 30 mins at the car wash and one really pissed off car wash owner later...

Yeah there's still mud under but it's gonna pour this week. So I'll be going on a long drive for nothing to (hopefully) get more of them off before I take the attachment to properly rinse the underside.

Currently working on the "how we got there" part.
