tonneau covers that work with the multifunction tailgate?

Can you please send me a pic of where you placed the clamps?
Hi, and sorry for late reply. I didn't see your question and haven't had a chance to take a pic. I'll try to get you one. but it works.

Hello @troymi, the clamps you have placed is that what diamondback provides you with? I am thinking of ordering the diamondback switchback, as per your pictures and your previous post, would it be safe to assume no modifications are required? Except place the clamps in the manner you have indicated? Thank you for providing the pics, Diamondback is the best option for me but the MFT model makes it tricky.

Yes,the clamps I used were the Diamondback clamps. I did not modify at all, but after a few months I added a small automotive/marine grade seal along the bed that is under the Switchback for added water resistance. I consider this a great solution if you need to use the bed open and want the best overall protection. Also, even with the Ram OEM bed lights, I still added another light under the Diamondback, it get's pretty dark in the bed.

Just got these brackets. Do I need to modify the rails as the rails toward the front won’t wit flush due one of the bolts on the bracket ?

I know this is an old thread but what are the current options for covers for Tungsten (with Ramboxes and MFT)?

Bakflip MX4 and Ram's own version of that both work with the 5.7 bed with Ramboxes. I know this because I have had both. There are several threads on this subject. If you search the forum, you will find multiple options.

Tungsten already come with a backflip soft cover. I am looking for roll-up like Sentry or Revolver.

The OEM tonneau is a soft cover. The Bakflip MX4 is not a soft cover

The Ram version is not a soft cover either.

I apologize, but I have never cared for a roll-up or revolver. I expect someone wil be along shortly with knowledge of those two for you.

Hey... I think we corresponded elsewhere... ( I had notifications set for this thread from a while ago)

For MFT + RamBoxes, there's another thread: Help finding a rambox and multi functional tailgate compatible hard tonneau cover. What is everyone else using?

I'd use the RealTruck chat to confirm - but if it were me (and assuming they're compatible) I would go with the Sentry CT or the Bak Revolver (I've seen word that they work with RamBox + MFT, but NOT MFT alone.. (I don't have RamBoxes)

I have the Sentry CT on my current truck. I had the Revolver on my last truck.

I have the Undercover Flex with Ram boxes and MFT and I love it so far. Don't have a pic available at the moment but here is a link:

How does CT compares to Revolver? I had CT on my TRX and loved it.

The Revolver has a full length lock, versus the CT has a mid-lock and rear lock (along with the velcro)

The Revolver has a rubber "contact seal" - where the CT has the velcro seal. The velcro stays down - versus the rubber contact seal tends to sit flat if you roll it up often, or in cold weather. Sometimes it takes a sunny day for it to lay back down flat.

They both have advantages...
