SGW 2025 Ram 1500 Big Horn

The issue is not with making changes. The issue happens when we need to do proxi alignment in the end. Maybe you can make changes with Alfa and do proxi alignment with official witech software but those of us that have tried with alfa haven’t been successful at getting all the modules proxi aligned after changes
I will report my findings, at least if it is successful you can go to your local dealer and offer a tech lunch to help out. :)

I tried this method this morning, as soon as you try to connect to the truck with alfaobd the SGW locks out. I can see in witech with the MX link connected all the module go red and even the MDP can no longer talk to the truck.

Ok, looks like you’ll have to go with the topdon scanner with autoauth to do the unlock.
Then when done using alfaobd, use witech alone to do the proxi alignment.

I have an Autel scan tool with autoauth subscription. It looks like the same thing is happening. I'll try again on this Wagoneer that I have this morning.

I use these tools and im able to unlock sgw and have alfa and cda6 connected simultaneously while sgw remains unlocked. I was even able to do write successfully in cda6 while having everything connected.

What year model? This was on a 25DT and a 22WS

I tried this on 23WL SGW and BCM. I don’t have 25 SGW yet to try on 25 BCM since the 23 WL SGW doesn’t recognize the 25DT BCM

I ordered the Xtool adapter it will be here tomorrow. Will post with findings.

So I was using the wrong section in AlfaOBD. I had to go in with a Jeep WL to get the change to work successfully. I was able to change the tire size but multiple modules fail when performing the proxi alignment afterwards. I'm going to try and make the tire size change and then flash the problematic modules to the latest software version to see if they will then accept the new config.

Which modules fail to proxi? Curious if they’re the same ones as with alfaobd…

Going to be attempting tire size change again today on a 25DT. After I complete the BCM edit I will proceed to flashing the modules that fail proxy alignment. Any update on your end @Jimmy07 ?

If the flash doesn’t work try looking into what the replace procedure is for the failed modules in tech authority. I have a feeling the proxi data might be hard coded into these module making them married to the vin factory configs. I hope thats not the case since replacing modules for every change would be pain if there is no reset/replace procedure to overwrite the proxi data.

I don’t have DT BCM working on bench yet but the WL setup i have shows me something like “proxi enabled on module” option in cda6. Maybe we can set that to false in cda6 for failing modules(and proxi skips checking those?) and assuming its stuff like digital mirror etc that doesn’t need these failing modules it might work. But for tires and such modules like TCM will be needed. I don’t have a complete vehicle to mess with but if i get 25 DT BCM to work i will update my findings.

Praying you folks figure this out!
