My truck is a 2019 Rebel 8.4 w/nav and alpine. I started getting this message pop up twice on every single start up. It's annoying and just started about a month ago; I've owned this truck since new and this is the first I've seen of this pop up.
Would be interesting to know if anyone out there...
Anybody else experiencing this? I feel like it's a potential failed over the air update. Shutting truck off and opening drivers door will get the sound back for less than a minute but always blue screen on backup camera.
I'm going to disconnect the battery when I get home and see if this fixes...
Thanks for your thoughts on a solution. I had the same idea; tried flipping it up and down a bunch of times with no luck. I guess as long as the power functions are still working, I can love with it.
Anyone know of a fix for a passenger side power tow mirror that operates as though its flipped out in the tow position all the time? This is fine while it's in tow position but not great in regular position.
Up moves mirror in, down moves mirror out, in moves mirror down and out moves mirror up...
Update.........I disconnected the battery for 10 minutes and started and shut truck off then opened drivers door a few times after reconnecting the battery to get the Uconnect back up to speed and now the BSM is working fine for a few days now.
So I'm starting to have weird things happening with my BSM system.
I've noticed in the past month or so that every once in a while when I get passed, the BSM on the driver's side mirror flickers but doesn't light up solid or it fails to light up at all.
Last night tho, it was doing the flicker...
Anyone had both blind spot monitors lit up at the same time for an extended period of driving? Mine were both on for about a straight hour while driving last night and then just went out and started working normally again.
I would say it looks like it currently has more moisture in it now. So i really have no clue. I should prob look into a new camera tho, considering the cloudiness in it right now.
Hey, I just left it while I mulled over the idea of replacing the camera and one day it just looked good again. Didn't do anything. So I really don't know what to say the solution was; lucky it worked itself out I guess. Lol
So I just tried to peel any protective film off of the lense; doesn't seem to be any on it.
Next I tried to polish the lense with headlight lense compound and polish with no change.
I'm going to next try to take a heat gun and attempt to dry out any possible moisture in the lense. I'm attaching...
