Power tow mirror controls operate as though theyre flipped out all the time.

Anyone know of a fix for a passenger side power tow mirror that operates as though its flipped out in the tow position all the time? This is fine while it's in tow position but not great in regular position.
Up moves mirror in, down moves mirror out, in moves mirror down and out moves mirror up.
I tried disconnecting the battery for a while but this did nothing but erase my uconnect settings.

Just a guess, but I would think there has to be a switch in the pivot, that tells it which position it is in. Try flipping back and forth a few times. Probably need a new mirror. Someone else may know for sure.

Thanks for your thoughts on a solution. I had the same idea; tried flipping it up and down a bunch of times with no luck. I guess as long as the power functions are still working, I can love with it.
