Looks like you will have to follow the instructions pretty much exactly (so - new windshield). You have a 2019 with no DASM, which is what i have as well.
Glad it’s working out for you thus far. I would assume you missed a setting in alpha. Since your truck came with FCW from the factory, you shouldn’t have to take it to the dealer. What happens when you try to enable ACC? Are you sure there are no fault codes showing up?
Catch the fluid is basically just a PSA that brake fluid will leak out once disconnecting the lines... best to catch it rather than let it get all over the ground. I don't recommend reusing it though, as brake fluid is cheap and you don't run the risk of putting dirt back in the system.
Assuming you're talking about the DASM being in plant mode, i don't know of anyone that has been able to get it out of plant without taking it to a dealer. There could be a way, but I'm not aware of the procedure. What Step is referring to I believe is the EPB plant mode, which can be removed...
This sounds like what happens if you wire the dasm power to a source that is not turned on with remote start. I had the same issue. The dasm needs power with remote start and regular start
It can be but i believe you cannot use AlphaOBD to perform the procedure. I heard of a guy that was able to reactivate a used DASM with the dealer's tool
You can add it. Based on others similar to your situation you'll have to install a new HCU and ABS Module and add the button. I think the only ones that wouldn't have to add those modules are TRX trucks. Here's the link to the installation document and thread: How to: Add Adaptive Cruise...
Definitely join the discord if you haven't already, but I hear sunnypilot is dealer's choice right now for c3 forks on 1500. Your C3 will be "plug and play" regardless though. Might be worth trying the official release from Comma and then switching over to a custom fork after you've got your...
Wow this is great information to know. I'll add this in at the beginning of the thread for those that may pursue the same path. Appreciate your research and instruction for this!
So if you don’t have FCW, you don’t have a dasm. Sounds like you probably have a 2019 or early 2020 truck. I think fcw is standard after 2020, but i could be wrong. The auto high beam is using a camera made specifically for auto high beam in you case. With the dasm, it’s all combined, so that...
