I wish there was an "on-demand" option. I turned it on for a couple of days, but decided I was better off without it. That said, there are times when it is definitely helpful.

MY 2019 has a very outdated map. Shows exits and on ramps that no longer exist or have move a considerable distance. Judging from the file name, I suspect the map in by 2019 is from the 2nd quarter 2017.

I concur. When I was starting to drive, late 70’s early 80’s, Dodge trucks were the point of ridicule. Since then I’ve owned a half dozen or so GM trucks and just traded in a 2015 Tundra for my beautiful RAM. So far, I’m quite happy.

The UConnect console restarts similar to when the truck first starts. It's happened twice, both times while I under 10 MPH, just pulling out of a parking lot.

I have the 12" display any other than a couple of re-boots and a 2 year old map, UConnect works as expected.
