You can go to the Uconnect website and put in your VIN number for your truck. It will then search and let you know if your system is up to date or if it needs an update. The 12 inch Uconnect does over the air updates automatically, so typically they are up to date.
When starting, if you lightly push the brake pedal or quickly let it go after pushing the start button, you won't hear it. Only happens for me if I'm holding the brake pedal firmly
Thought I'd share this in case anyone else had the same issue. I have a 2019 Ram 1500 Sport. Had it since March 2019 and on a cold start, the rear brakes would always make a awful noise/moan when first applied. Would go away pretty quickly but the sound was like a train coming to a stop. Turns...
Well I didn't personally so it but had my 2019 for an oil change and tire rotation. The dealer snapped one off when torquing the tires. They said that "usually doesn't happen". Replaced it at no charge. Haven't had an issue since.
Sorry to say you will be waiting awhile. I purchased my 2019 ram in March 2019 with a 12 inch Uconnect and the dealership and FCA have all been spewing the same song and dance. They said it was October, then November and then December! Yet here we are....
Anyone have any luck on the issue around "dropped calls"? Where you hear people on the hands free with unconnect but people don't hear you. Happened to me 3x 2 days ago. I switched phones and same issue. @RamCares
