Over the last week or so I noticed my driver side vents started blowing hot air, no matter what setting the driver’s side is on. It seams like it gradually got worse.
Is the the blend door issue. The rear vents are warm as well. No cold air thru the console.
I can actuate the airflow...
The Alpine setup on my 2020 Laramie was vastly improved withe a set of the dash
Infinity Reference REF-3032cfx....snaged these from Crutchfiled with the harness for $48. Took 5 minutes to install and the front stage was improved vastly!!! It blows my mind the OEM speakers on a $60G truck can...
Installed my VLED kit tonight and can't be happier; what a difference. Extra LED completely eliminates and brake light red hue. That was my biggest issue before, if I did not ride the brake light there was "almost" enough illumination. Now I can see my exhaust fumes like I did on my Gen4...
Any ideas on wiring up the VLED to either that cargo light switch or, in my case, the interior camper topper light? It would be very nice to have this light provide extra illumination in the back as needed. I have a deer hauler that could become a lot more usable at night when loading deer or...
Am I wrong with my assessment of the inferior reverse light illumination levels on the Gen 5 Laramie Sport compared to the Gen 4 Sport?
After backing out a few times down my driveway I had to slow down and pay close attention in order to stay on my blacktop. I never had this issue with my 2018...
2020 Ram here, just turned 1200 miles and a nice road trip to break her in...comparing it to my 2018, I can't fill up more than 22 gallons when almost all the way empty. Took me some slow filling today to get to the 394 mils to empty mark. I did a lot of highway driving, so I was hoping the...
Same here, just picked up a 2020 Hemi and trying to figure out my tank range. I use to be able to get over 420 Miles on my 2018 RAM as I could fill up close to 24 gallons. It took me forever to put 22 gallons in today....I wonder if I can talk my dealer into upgrading to a 30+ gallon tank....
I have reused my leer cap that was on my 2018. The cap sits about .75-1” higher than it should as the Gen 5 bed sides are a bit taller compared to the Gen 4. Not a big deal for me as I was not ready to order a new one...
Brand new 2020 with a stock 12"Connect + Alpine system. Everything works great so far except for a noticeable low audio input level when streaming Bluetooth music from my iPhone.
I'm comparing the input level to the XM radio volume and my volume is up all the way on the phone. I also played...
I do like the quite ride on the 2020, however I really enjoyed the exhaust note on my stock 2018 as well. My Gen 4 had a nice sound regardless of the rpm and especially when floored to pass someone.
Any way to add a bit more resonance to the stock system without replacing the whole system?
I think I found a setting where I had to enable "voice" dialing when the phone is locked. It doesn't not appear I can keep the phone unlocked if it is paired with the system, however I can now make calls without having to manually unlock the phone (also I'm not getting the message about phone...
My iPhone is paired up and works great with the 12” screen.
Question:
is it possible to over ride the IPhone auto lock-out when the phone is connected to the Bluetooth and Uconnect?
If I try to make a hands free call, Siri says “your phone is locked but I don’t advise you to unlock it while...
Just to update my original post, so I wound up buying a 2020 RAM 1500. The cap off my 2018 fits!
I do notice it sits a bit higher as the new bed is 1” taller. Also it is a hair wider as far as the gap along the bed sides go. It is a very minimal difference; and I’m probably the only one...
