If you can get PPM from your tool, it should be lower than the upstream; ideally by a factor of about 10:1, with it all warmed up, of course.

When I was getting ready to order my truck, I test-drove a Hemi with 3.92 gears. It put a big grin on my face. But I don't need a truck to put a grin on my face. I have other vehicles for that. :giggle:
If it really does work that way, it's very misleading. If a "trip display" shows X miles, then average MPGs on that same display should should be calculated over that same distance.
I would be surprised if that was correct. I have normally Trip A showing all the time. I've never seen any kind of "jump" or discontinuity at 500 miles, and I've gone past 500 miles numerous times (easy when you have a 33 gallon tank).

OK.. Another brand of vehicles I'm familiar with does have the ability to correct this by tweaking a channel in the Instrument Cluster with a scan tool, and I was hoping FCA might also have a provision for it.
Does anyone know if there's a correction for fuel consumption (MPG) anywhere? Over 3600 miles and 7 fill ups, I've noticed my truck's calculated MPG is off (optimistic) by about 6%. Truck is 100% stock.
I just went out and checked it.
So my truck's estimate is optimistic by about 1.6 MPG, or a bit over 6%.
Average speed, including all idle time, stops at red lights, and low-speed local driving works out to 54.2 MPH.
