Harmon Kardon Sound System and 12" Nav Screen... are they 'worth it'???

I know OP has already gone and seen both vehicles and can make his own choice but I thought I’d just throw in my 2 cents. The 12inch screen looks awesome and I was super pumped when I first got the truck with it but as time went on I really missed the physical buttons, especially for the...

Why aren't there a lot of canopies on trucks out there?

So why do people buy sports cars? Or luxury vehicles? By your logic you probably should have bought a tradesman trim rather than the limited that’s in your signature.

Why aren't there a lot of canopies on trucks out there?

Canopies look terrible on trucks imo. My dad always had them on his trucks when I was growing up - I didn’t like them then and I certainly don’t like them now. Between a tonneau cover and an open bed there’s never been anything I’ve wanted to haul securely with my truck that I haven’t been able to.

After a 1,563 year generation...the next gen Tundra!

Man that is one fugly truck. 15 years and that’s what they came up with? Glad I’m not a Tundra guy who was waiting on the redesign. I don’t like the exterior or the interior. Chevys new interior is way nicer than the Tundra.

Not a fan of the wood but that’s a massive upgrade over their current interior.

    Help with Used Dealer Tricks

Do not do this. Sadly you would end up with a “grey market” vehicle. Any warranty work you’d have to take the truck to a dealership in the USA.

    Help with Used Dealer Tricks

Biweekly payments are very common in Canada. My mortgage is biweekly as well. Lots of places pay their employees biweekly so having payments biweekly works.

    Help with Used Dealer Tricks

It seems expensive but I don’t know in today’s climate with Covid. I bought my limited brand new last year at the end of February. I did put some money down and have some positive equity on my trade (not that much mind you), and my biweekly payment is less than what they’re offering you with...

What trim level should i get?

He says in his original post that he wants Ramboxes. He also mentions passengers, which I’m guessing he’s taking with him to ride on the boat. He’s easily going to be over the payload on a limited/longhorn with ramboxes.

What trim level should i get?

If you want all those nice features you’re probably looking at a Laramie at a minimum, if not a Longhorn or Limited. Problem is those nice features on the higher trims eat into payload quite a bit. Towing a 10k boat would easily put you over your payload limit on the higher trims. You could...

Good-bye, my Ram is sold, new toy in the driveway.

Congrats on your new vehicle, I hope you enjoy it. There’s no way I’d trade my Ram for one, but that’s just me.

    Power Running Boards

Live in southern Alberta, had the truck a little over a year now. No issues so far, worked perfect during the winter even with snow/road buildup on them.

    Some Real World MPG Numbers

All winter (winter fuel) and mostly just driving around the city, my truck was around 14 mpg. Recently took it for a little spin into the mountains on a nice day (couple hundred miles round trip) and it averaged around 19 mpg.

Laramie vs Limited Longhorn exterior (please be kind)

When I go to build a Ram (Canada) there’s no options that add vented seats to the 2021 Rebel. Maybe it’s different in the USA.

Laramie vs Limited Longhorn exterior (please be kind)

I’m guessing you might be talking about the auto-high beams? That is not the same feature as adaptive headlights. I agree the Rebel is a sharp looking truck, but until they can have vented seats as an option, I would not buy one.
