I've noticed absolutely no difference in 87 vs 89. Both with 10% ethanol. I have 13,800 miles on my truck now and it's had a trailer (boat or car trailer) hooked to it for probably 6,000 of those miles. No difference in power or mpg running either octane. My truck now gets whatever is cheapest...
My iPhone X will disconnect from time to time but it will come back on if I unplug it and plug it back in. Not sure if it's a phone/software issue, CarPlay issue, or cable issue.
My dealer finally got my parts in after an almost 6 month wait. Not sure I will even get it done now that others are experiencing the same issue with the new parts. I can handle the noise while backing up as it only does once in the morning if the truck was wet the night before. I can't handle...
When it first starts raining mine will break traction at times but the stability control won't let it get sideways. If it's been raining awhile and the roads aren't as greasy then it doesn't do it as often.
My 1500 does the same thing. The dealer took apart my entire dash, checked the blend doors, and even checked several brand new trucks on the lot. They told me it was normal and that they all do that.
Mine also will sound like someone cracked a window open behind the dash at times when the AC is...
This. The only reason I would feel regret is if the 5.7 got more power (not that it's really needed) or they started to put the 6.4L in them. I don't care about the appearance packages or the Eco-Diesel.
Only thing I don't like is the slight hesitation between the 1-2 and 2-3 shift. All other gears are fine and I don't notice much hesitation on downshifts when going to pass or accelerate on the highway.
Glad you're getting a new truck.
However, why do you think your current truck should have the 115v outlets? It's a known fact that the early models never came with them. Mine is a 6/18 build and I was one of the unfortunate ones without them.
Mine was doing the same thing with showing my location in Sterling Heights, MI, where the FCA plant is. Every once in awhile it would work fine but then revert back. I made an appointment for a few things to be looked and before taking it in I discovered there was a TSB out for this issue. Funny...
My 1500HD only had 3.73's but my 8.1 Suburban had 4.10's. The 8.1 is for sure a beast and sounded awesome with the muffler I had on it. I honestly would still have it if it didn't start nickel and diming me so bad. It was also starting to show some rust on the rockers.
I'm the opposite. My left leg gets discomfort in it at times. I don't like that there isn't a place to rest my left foot on either like most vehicles have.
Mine charged me $56 for the flash if I remember correctly. I told them there's no way it takes longer than 30 minutes and when I came back to pick it up that's about what they charged me for.
