Nice rides! My 1500HD (6.0L/4L80-E/4.10) needed the Black Bear tune and Magnaflow exhaust to wake up, and then it was awesome. But as @devildodge knows, my stump-pulling '01 2500HD with the 8.1L/Allison/4.10 combo (and dual chambered exhaust) was a BEAST. I still miss the earth-shaking rumble and Allison pump whine of that rig.

My 1500HD only had 3.73's but my 8.1 Suburban had 4.10's. The 8.1 is for sure a beast and sounded awesome with the muffler I had on it. I honestly would still have it if it didn't start nickel and diming me so bad. It was also starting to show some rust on the rockers.

Had a z71 Tahoe then onto a Yukon Denali and now a 2019 Ram Limited. I was going to go to a 2019 Denali/Silverado or maybe even another Yukon but they just haven't changed enough for me. Sitting in and driving the Ram plus the deal on the vehicle ultimately won me over. My Yukon was a decent vehicle but started having all sorts of issues with the mag ride and I developed the GMC shimmy/shake that so many people get and just could not "shake it". But it held it's value pretty well over 5 years and 95k miles in my opinion and still looked great, just anything over 65 MPH you'd shake so bad it wasn't fun to drive any longer.

Coming out of a 2016 GMC Canyon SLT. It blew a torque converter at 500 miles. Other quirks. Transmission and shifting gears were awful. Keys started not coming out of the ignition at 49,000 miles and that was caused by the shifter button which the whole unit would need to be replaced.

Bought a 2019 Big Horn last Sunday and so far am enjoying it. Gas mileage isn’t as good obviously but the space, ride, interior and exterior along with tech are great. Lost some options but didn’t use many of them anyway. Couldn’t pass up the deal I got. They did give me the highest value on the trade which was nice. Had a 2010 Silverado in the past as well.
