    5.7 Hemi - 87 or 89 Octane

I've used 89 for every fill-up since I got my truck last year. I have 17000 miles on it now. I use 89 just for the fact that the manufacturer recommends it. I'm sure they didn't just randomly recommend it, there has to be a reason. The fuel burns better at 89 and I'm sure it will have a long...

    Transmission fluid flush?

There is no recommendation for mileage on a transmission fluid flush. When do you guys plan on flushing your transmission fluid?

    Dodgy dealer

Wow this is unbelievable. I would be LIVID. They kept your truck for a month and butchered it in the process? and then yelled at you? This can not stand. I would lemon it and get another one from a different dealer. Also, before I take my vehicle in for service, I do a full inspection on camera...

    Bed length advice

I saw a 2019 2500 with the MEGA Cab (bigger than the crew cab) and the 8 foot bed. That thing is insanely huge.

Experiences with oil changes so far?

Yeah, that's why I prefer to do my own. Every time I go to the dealership, something ends up getting messed up.

Look at how dirty the cabin air filter is after 15,000 miles.

My cabin air filter is a MOPAR air filter from the dealership for 20 dollars, the engine air filter is MOPAR and from the dealership for 30 dollars. Pretty easy to change, you just have to take the glove box out. It's kind of a pain at first because you're nervous that the plastic will snap, but...

Experiences with oil changes so far?

Well, technically the owner's manual just says that the fluid recommended fluid level is 7 quarts, it doesn't say to put in 7 quarts for every oil change. I just find it hard to believe that there is that so much oil left in the engine after draining it out completely that the dipstick indicates...

Joined the cracked windshield club today!

If your windshield cracks, you don't have to get the OEM windshield. The aftermarket ones cost $300 and are just as good. If the OEM windshield was so great, it wouldn't have cracked in the first place.

Some questions about the 2 inch mopar lift kit

The 2 inch mopar lift kit really has caught my interest, but I have a few questions to the people who bought it. Does the lift kit dramatically affect performance? Does it void the warranty? How much is it for the lift kit + dealership install? Is it fine to use the stock 18 inch tires with the...

    Mud Flaps with Fender Trim

I ordered Weathertech mudflaps last year and they didn't fit. They told me to send them back with a return code on it and they would refund me. I sent them back and never received my refund. I've always used Weathertech mats, but I was disappointed by that experience. How are the Mopar ones?

Look at how dirty the cabin air filter is after 15,000 miles.

The owner's manual says to change the cabin air filter after 20,000 miles, but I would recommend 15,000 if you run your AC a lot, given how dirty I found mine was! I also replaced the engine air filter as well, and it was pretty dirty. I think every 15,000 miles for both is a good idea. Thoughts?

Experiences with oil changes so far?

Seems like mine is too according to the dipstick, even if I let it drain for 10-15 minutes and put exactly 7 quarts in. As somebody said before, the dipstick in this engine sucks. Do you drive with the overfill or do you drain a little bit out from the bottom and recheck the stick? Yeah, the...

Experiences with oil changes so far?

Hey guys, just wondering how your experiences have been with changing oil so far. Are you getting back 7 quarts when you drain your old oil? Do you end up having to put in less than 7 quarts based on your oil dipstick reading? What is your preferred oil type and brand? Are MOPAR filters the best...

Do you house your Ram in a garage or outside?

Yeah, guys, these are some interesting comments. Seems like most people who keep it outside just can't fit it into their garage. My last car was a Charger and I would park in the garage every night when I got home from work. The Ram is too big for my old garage lol. My concern is the sun. Last...
