I just installed the OPT7. Did you use the Curt 56584 wire adapter or did you just tap into the tow harness? I'm not a big fan of the bar as a running light either and wouldn't mind just having it for braking but I don't think that's an option with the stock Curt plug. It looks like I'd have...
I just picked up some 22" wheels that I'm going to put Nitto 420s tires on. I love those tires for street use. I've had 2 sets of them on my last truck. I want to take my stock 20" wheels and put a set all terrains on for winter use. I don't want to spend a lot since these are just my winter...
I had to wait over a month for my first windshield. The last one about 2 months ago was in stock. I guess as easy as they break they're running out. I'd be tempted to try a non-oem maybe they're stronger. I'd just worry about how all the sensors would work with a non-oem.
I did not need to calibrate my last 2 windshields and I have all the bells and whistles. Everything worked perfectly except my rock force field to protect the glass. I'm not changing this one until the crack runs wild. The crack is up top on the right side. Both of my light rock taps were up...
I'm now going on my 4th windshield! Just lost one today. Has anybody else had problems with the new windshields. The first one was a hard hit by a rock but the last 2 were light taps. I have no faith in the strength of these windshields anymore.
Got the RV home today and the truck handled incredible. Actually better then without the RV. It was planted firm and barely bounced and no sway when trucks passed. I love this truck!
Thanks, that's good to know. I have 8K towing but my point was that the truck should handle well at the max because these trucks with the 3.92 can pull 12k.
Thanks for the info! My tow limit is 8000 because I only have 3.21 gears but being this truck is capable of hauling 12,000 lbs if I get close to my max I shouldn't have any handling issues it will just lug up hills. Is that correct?
I'm buying my first RV toy hauler. It's a 2020 Forest River FSX 260RT. It's about 29" long and 4800lbs empty. I've only hauled small trailers in the past so this is new to me. I'm getting a Equalizer hitch and I was wondering how it works with the air suspension. I see videos where they...
Installed my Mopar Vent Visors yesterday. Very easy install, I was done in about 20 mins. At first I could not get my front windows to go up automatically. I cycled them many times. I figured that these trucks have very tight tolerances and that visor just needed time to seat and stretch...
I see it all the time around here. The MSRP will be up top, crossed out, then the unattainable sale price right below it, that's it. Then when you scroll down to the very bottom of the ad in the really small fine print is the disclaimers. So technically you're right but they have cute little...
