I would like some options from other eco owners who have been getting their oil analyzed. Here is my updated Blackstone report. At what point should I be concerned about the amount of aluminum present? Is it time to trade her in? Am I overreacting? It sucks because I really love this truck!
Ok, cool. Thanks. I will take it off and install a fresh filter tomorrow before heading out. I drove it around the block and nothing leaked but it just didn’t feel right to me.
So, I’ve changed the oil in my eco numerous times and no worries. Today I was tightening the oil filter and it just seemed a little different. I don’t think that i cross threaded the housing but I’m just not sure. My question is this, there is a flat lip on the plastic cap portion of the oil...
I‘m experiencing the same thing. It definitely reminds me of being in 4wd on dry pavement. It is much more noticeable when towing. Only seems to happen when making a turn from a stop. 2021 Limited eco diesel 4wd 31,000 mi. Has anyone had any luck with a diagnosis?
Has anyone found another cost effective source for OEM oil filters? Dieselfiltersonline has been out of stock and they’re not sure when they will be receiving more.
Thinking about getting a hitch mounted bike rack for my ecodiesel. I’ve read posts about the extreme heat out of the exhaust during regen. Has anyone had any problems melting or damaging a bike in that scenario or am I over thinking this.
