    Clunking rear hub-axle lateral movement

https://5thgenrams.com/community/threads/front-end-clunk-while-turning-fixed-tsb-23-047-18.1003/page-57 There's a page 2-3 from the end of that thread (https://gopro.com/v/kVREKwMqyNo7N) and that's the exact sound I'm having. There's an updated TSB...

    Clunking rear hub-axle lateral movement

Took a drive with the dealer driveline mechanic. When sitting in the passenger seat the clunk I'm hearing/feeling is immediately obvious that it's right front and not the rear. He assured me that the play in the rear is absolutely normal - I've seen that said a few places around the forum as...

    Clunking rear hub-axle lateral movement

I'm a machinist by professional hobby so I certainly could, but I am not interested in taking the caliper off. :)

    2019 eTorque stop/start not starting.

Went to the dealer for it's first dealer service. There were quite a few software updates for the issue. Time will tell.

    Clunking rear hub-axle lateral movement

Got the truck back today. Replaced the rear carrier and it's bearings. I don't think it made a difference however... I understand tolerance in parts but this cannot be right, can it? If I take a quick/hard left or right turn I hear/feel two clunks, and I imagine it's the axle shafts moving...

    Clunking rear hub-axle lateral movement

Dealer told me they're replacing the rear carrier. - also that some lateral movement at the wheel like that is "normal". That seems wrong... but we'll see.

    Clunking rear hub-axle lateral movement

@Scram1500 's videos are now gone, but I started noticing this recently (2019 ram, 26,000miles, no mods) I'd noticed a clunk from the rear when turning onto my road which goes through a bit of a dip so it flexes the suspension a bit. Went out gave the wheels a shake down and found the passenger...

    2019 eTorque stop/start not starting.

Same.. It choked a couple random times and that's it. The belt and pulleys on mine still look great and brand new. I dont think it's a belt slipping.

Anyone tried the new BFG Trail-Terrain T/A?

Another hundred miles on them... They're a little louder than the stock tires... if you need to drive in grass/snow/light mud they're awesome.

    2019 eTorque stop/start not starting.

Hmm... Maybe! Belt makes a lot more sense than a weak battery - It still works 99 percent of the time and fires right up like the day I got it. I will check out the belt today and see what it looks like. @bpwj76 is it cold where you are? I'm having these issues in cold weather (first time i've...

    2019 eTorque stop/start not starting.

Heh, I'm actually a fan of the eTorque stop/start. I have rented two dozen different cars and the stop/start is incredibly awful because they use the starter motor... But we'll see what the dealer says about this to fix. I'm sure it wont be cheap.
