Hello, I bought a travel trailer and want to add OEM trailer braking to my 2019 Bighorn.

Thank you! How much did they charge you for the flash? Did you buy the hardware from them? Did you have any problems after you installed and before it was flashed?

Hello, I bought a travel trailer and want to add OEM trailer braking to my 2019 Bighorn.

I have read the install instructions on-line. Does adding it require a software flash (or something like that)? The instructions I found didn't mention it. Thanks!

    MOPAR Direct extended warranty

Mine 2019 Bighorn is about to expire and got quotes today. Prices seemed high, but I have not shopped 3rd party warranties yet. I am satisfied with this truck and plan to keep a long time as I have done with my 2002, 2011 Rams. I am not a big believer in warranties and have never had them...

Weirdest things to ruin a tire?

The pliers were in the pothole and then punctured the tire and rim when I drove over it. Tires had been rotated 2 times before.

Weirdest things to ruin a tire?

OK, what items have you had ruin a tire for you? I had the strangest one I have ever seen happen this past Sunday. Driving about 1/2 from home hit a pothole and heard a pop. TMPS instantly showed it was losing pressure. Thought I could nurse it home, but was totally flat in 3oo yards...

Finish this sentence: "If I had it all to do over again with my Ram 1500, I would _______________."

I would have waited until 2nd-year production, researched in more detail and got a Laramie. But I am satisfied! Never look back!

    Undercover Tonneau Cover Review

I had exact cover on my 4th gen (I bought it used and it had it on it). It's a good product but too bulky etc for easy 1-person removal and replacing. I have always had soft tonneau's for this specific reason and got one on my 5th gen.

    DIY Rear USB

I remember seeing one. Not sure where but they used something like this: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07ZRRK7ZZ/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_7?smid=A2L1WNGWGTQK4J&psc=1 It looked pretty straight forward to wire to source under storage bin that has USB.

    Now or wait?

Thanks, I make an appointment then. I guess it won't really matter as it will probably take several weeks to order and replace rear window, at that time it will most likely be warm enough to test the AC.

    Now or wait?

I have never been back to the dealer since purchase in May 2019 and 9500 miles. I have the airbag recall, cracked rear window frame (not leaking) and want to report weak A/C issue. Should I go ahead and do it now or wait until warmer weather here in Missouri (for A/C issue)? TIA
