OK, this is a first for me, but this is also a larger load than I generally tow. I've got a 2019 Ram 1500 (new style), 5.7 Hemi. I'm towing a 8.5x16 Mirage trailer, with a Honda Pioneer 1000-5 loaded, and maybe another 500lbs of gear. It's towed great all week, no issues, etc, etc...

They called me for an inspection, but I'll be passing on the "modification". I'll wait for the revised floor mats. I didn't get all-weather mats to let someone cut random holes in it.
Anyone know the reason why you cannot turn off the headlights when it's dark out? Not talking about DRL, the full on lamps. Doesn't matter what position the switch is in, they're on.
Guys at the boat ramp hate me right now, lol
I've been working the number down. I'm at 32.25 right now which is pretty close to dead on, as far as I can tell. I would not have expected the setting to be that far off.
I guess I'll just keep adjusting it down until it matches or I get tired of programming. Right now, I'm at 32.5, which is a little more than 1.5" under the measured height. It's a little closer, maybe 1mph off now, instead of 2.
I took mine in to another dealership. This time with video in hand. I'm going to post the exact writeup I received back, but the gist of it is:
Yes, we repro'd the issue.
We also took out a similar stock truck from our lot, and verified the issue on THAT truck as well.
Based on that finding...
Has anyone *successfully* calibrated their speedometer after wheels/tires changes using this programmer? Meaning, the speedometer and odometer are correctly reading now?
I've used it twice with different tire sizes and both times it claims a successful update. The speedometer still reads...
Anyone using the Plug-N-Play pass-thru harness as part of the power steps install, and want to share a picture of of the harness mounting/install? I've got the steps installed and working and I'd like to use the pass-through harness to free up an OBD port, but I'm not seeing a good spot for...
FWIW, on my last truck I had an aftermarket (50 gal; diesel) tank installed. I never did any flashes or updates and so the gauge just stayed at Full until the the fuel level dropped down far enough for the sending unit to start reading something other than Full. It's just a bucket, IMO.
If I...
I have a 7x14 vee-nose (extra height) that I use for duck hunting (gear & 4 wheeler). Seems pretty tame to me, but no question my old 3/4 ton diesel might have done it a little better. But it rode like crap comparatively. I towed it over 40 once (once!) with an Explorer and that's the last...
