I'm guessing it's E-Torque related. I had a 2017 Hemi before my 2023 and it was one of the smoothest drive trains I've ever driven. My 2023 left a ton to be desired even before this weird disengaging issue started.
That said, I won't be able to tell you what it was. I made the mistake (for...
Sorry all - Got busy with life and work and had to cancel my original service appointment. Recently made a new one, but the first opening they had was July 22nd.
The issue is getting progressively worse, so who knows how bad it will be by the service appointment. Actually a good...
That's what getting me right now, can't really remember if it's always been a thing I've just now been noticing or actually a new problem.
More throttle unfortunately makes my issue feel worse, otherwise I'd say Mash the Gas!
Service appointment next week, we'll see how it goes.
Not without taking my foot almost entirely off the brake, which I then get the lurch before it starts creeping.
So, I do have play in the drive line, another piece of the puzzle. A couple weeks go I noticed a 'clank' starting to develop in the drive line. It's there anytime I shift into...
Will give that a go, thanks for the suggestion.
Appreciate the input, and understand that e-torque is still active, but feels like a very different sensation than just some assistance from the electric motor. Every automatic transmission car I have ever drive 'loads up' the drive train as soon...
I have a 23 Laramie 5.7 e-torque with about 17k miles on it. For the first 10k or so miles, I used the stop/start feature, but got sick of it after a while in stop and go traffic as it made the experience pretty herky-jerky. Since then, first step after starting the truck on every drive is to...
Well, she's landed. Ordered 9/30, in production 1/12, arrived at MD this morning. Was told on Monday when I asked for another POC that it was supposed to be getting unloaded from the train on 1/31 and not expected at MD until 2/13, so a pleasant surprise. Now I have to figure out between work...
Priced Order Confirmation. Basically a sheet that has all the vehicle order details including the options chosen, vehicle order number (VON), VIN, etc. It also has the order status and estimated ship date if available.
Pizza tracker has never worked for my order, so I've been getting occasional POCs from my sales person. Last one I requested was 12/27 and it was D1 with a Ship Date of 1/11. Just got another today at it's in G - Trim still with a ship date of 1/11. So agreed that it does look like that...
Great looking truck. I've got pretty much a clone on order except Granite Crystal and a Hemi. Seeing yours makes the wait that much worse.
Only thing I wish is they would have kept the 20" wheels when you combine the Night Edition and ORG.
My issue started intermittently as well, eventually got to the point where it was 100% occurrence. Also, only time it was an issue after failure was when the climate control was set to Auto. If I turned off Auto, Recirc would work just fine.
Had the exact same issue on my 2017. Turned out to be a bad cabin humidity sensor. Not sure where it is on the 5th Gen, but on my 2017 was mounted to the windshield behind the mirror, just to the passenger side.
