My 2020 Limited one broke too, passenger side which nobody uses the majority of the time. Will have to add it to the list of issues for them to look at for warranty claims (multifunction tailgate won't open in the split way, Ramboxes need alignment, etc)
Thats a lot better price than I thought it would be. Will have to look up the cover that hides the jack under the passenger seat...a clip on that cover snapped when I removed it to access the jack. Didnt come off nearly as easy as the Ram video depicted.
Thanks for the information!!
I have a 2020 1500 with the MFT. While unloading a fridge the other day, I had the tailgate down in the traditional way. The fridge caught an edge of the upper trim on the tailgate and some of the plastic pins/clips broke.
These pins, or clips, are molded into the trim piece. Any options out...
To confirm what you stated, this cover is supposed to fir with the black rails included in the bed utility group? Have a short bed with ramboxes and mft.
Thanks for the info.
I was really looking at the Diamondback, but I continue to find myself taking the stock cover off completely to move things. Based on size with Ramboxes, not sure I could load an ATV on my short bed Ram if I had the Diamonback cover...without purchasing extenders. They look awesome though...
For the new version of the Bakflip mentioned, anyone using the black cargo rails? Looked on their website and they have options for the silver rails, but don't list it for the black rails.
The limited cover options with Rambox/MFT/black cargo rails continues to be less than ideal.
Received my Putco light bar a few weeks ago and the thicker spacers/brackets this week. Just got done installing the 60" light bar on my 2020 with MFT. The extra thickness of these Putco spacers and the flexibility of the light bar allowed for a pretty clean install.
Pics: overall, left edge...
I should have mentioned, I do have the sport hood as well. Everything seems to line up just fine, it's just how hard I have to slam the hood, which concerns me.
Others on the forum mentioned it fits the regular and sport hood.
Not sure if I should return to weathertech. Don't want any...
Just installed the Weathertech Bu/Stone deflector yesterday. The screws I received were not too long and fit well. However, after trying to thread them in with no success in getting a tight fit, I pushed on the outside of the pin to the hood to have a tight fit then pushed the screws in and...
Would you go with AEM or another company? Had K&Ns in different vehicles before, but if their quality is spotty for Rams, interested to see what other options may be better. Was debating about getting a CAI, but the price difference vs gains doesn't seem worth it right now.
No worries. Last time I spoke with a Putco rep, they said they have extended spacers for their light bar for the 5th gen rams, which in theory compensate for the molded protrusions in the MFT (maybe the regular tailgate as well...not sure). Did you get those and still need to drill different...
