    Anybody running 285/55R22?

The maxtrac springs were too soft (overall) for my liking. I didn’t like how much it squatted with as little as 160lbs of soil in the bed, or with me standing in the bed and over the axle. To me, the spring rate felt ~100lbs or so too soft.

22" Tire Size Recommendation- 3 Options?!

I have a 3/1” lift (over stock non ORG height), so no rubbing with 22x10 -18 offset wheels.

Ok how many here have 0 problems with eco D

I absolutely love seeing his success and follow him here and on another ram forum. In all fairness though, that’s one person that has a unique use case of mostly highway hauling for the life of his trucks. Again, I’m not saying anyone is wrong and I’m not trying to defend wxman or anyone else-...

22" Tire Size Recommendation- 3 Options?!

Using an average of 7,000lb GVW of a ram 1500 limited, the generic equation of GVW / 4 compared with the terrain contact a/t tires shows you have 929LB left for a single tire before reaching max load of the tire. That seems pretty good to me. What Continental does not list is the recommended rim...

22" Tire Size Recommendation- 3 Options?!

I’ve done all those sizes and also 285/50/22. Here’s the list of what I’ve had on my ‘21 and ‘22 DT. All were paired with a 22x10 wheel: 1. Defender LTX: 275/50/22- I believe the 22x10 wheels caused excessive wear due to a combination of wheel being 1/2” wider than max spec and the truck’s...

How does RAM get the 1" lift w/ the "Off Road Package"

It was @Bluram that resurrected it, but since they did, I thought it was important to add it to the great post bluram made.

    Wild Electrical issues fixed

The auto repair industry has been dealing with stuff like this for a few decades, so good techs are well adept at dealing with chasing grounds. I even cut my teeth in (modern) auto repair on flood repair BMW and Audi electrical issues in the late ‘90s. Unfortunately, the industry lends itself to...

How does RAM get the 1" lift w/ the "Off Road Package"

To add onto this and update some other early comments, the ORG non-airride is achieved with a 1” longer spring and not lengthening of the shock body.

    Eibach Pro-Truck Stage 1 Install

I called each time either when they first opened or were about to close. I also left a message the first time I called and it was returned the following morning. I don’t know if that person is still there or if things are handled differently now since I haven’t called again since the first time...

Bilstein 5100 leveling kit question about UCA

I also used a large prybar when I did mine. If you can’t find a good place to use a prybar, some chain bolted in a loop around the lower control arm with the prybar inserted between then chain and arm can help. Here’s an LCA tool if you want something more “polished” than a chain. There’s also...
