I ordered the actuator off of Rock Auto and did it myself. Stabbing the new one back proved to be a headache but after doing it once, if I had t o do it again it would take me probably 20 minutes start to finish.
T-6, I've never done an oil analysis so I couldn't tell you much beyond that. Heck for all I know my intake and EGR could be nearly plugged, but the only service light I have had was for a bad 4wd actuator. Still runs like it did when I drove it off the lot new right before Covid.
I bet it's your 4wd actuator, I recently had the same issue. I ordered the part from rock auto and changed it out in less than 45 minutes, you might have to add a little oil to the front differential as you will lose a little bit when you remove the old actuator...
