I have the same thing and its going to the shop tommorow...mine is at 48-52 mph....a hum from the rear. I unplugged the anc module and it was still there. I think its just a little bit of whine from the 3.92 rear end. I had a trans am back in the day w/ 4.10 and it made the same sound only 10...
I actually pulled the carpet back last night and the plastic covering pulls back very easily...should be able to run the sound proofing very far up the firewall.
I am sound proofing the Ram and wanted to know if anyone has done the same. I would like to see what it takes to remove the adjustable pedal assembly and plastic covering against the firewall so you can run the sound deadening material as high up the firewall as possible.
What could cause a hissing type sound under moderate to heavy acceleration that comes from the rear seat area? Is that an e-torque thing.? I have the back seats flipped up for the first time which is why i think i heard it...just curious what it could be. It feels fine, just makes that hiss...
I didn't see at the actual muffler dimensions but this is what I bought.... I guess this is the 14"

I just installed the Magnaflow direct fit muffler and am very surprised at how loud it is even under mild to moderate acceleration....didn't expect it based on the videos and forum info. I do love the fact that at highway cruising speed it sounds just about stock w/ no drone. Overall pretty...
I agree. I dont expect this truck to ride like a car and like the solid/direct feeling of the steering response. My concern is with my steering feeling like a odd combination of slightly clunky (like a component is just a bit loose), a slight shimmy in the 55-65 mph range, and vibration...
i just realized after driving home that it seems that my issues are amplified significantly after the temperature warms up throughout the day. Drive to work when its still cooler outside isn't nearly as bad as the drive home. Is this a signal something is loose?
No, new tire fixed the bumpy butt feeling from having flat spots. It didn't fixed steering wheel and gas pedal issues. The owner of the dealership i bought it from is going to go drive the truck with me next week. I have known him for 20 years on a personal level and is as honest as they get. He...

I have played around with tire pressure quite a bit with limited success. I want road feel, but not to the extent i have it. My stock Goodyears were already replaced by the dealer after a legitimate shake in my seat and the actual ride of the truck is flawless (had to ride in the passenger...
Agree that its not terrible, but definity something there. I am just trying to gage if its the truck characteristics or something worth taking it in for.
I know having 22" wheels isn't the best for ride quality. That said, I am very happy with how smooth the truck feels (via my seat) over bumps/uneven pavement...etc. My one question (In the context of having driven an Accord everyday) is what should I really expect the steer feedback to feel...
Hi All. This is a great forum!
I just picked up a 2019 Laramie Longhorn w/ 22" wheels. So far, I have put 600 miles on the truck with mixed feelings. It has the potential to be awesome and gets a lot of compliments, but there are definitely a few quality concerns. I am hoping they will be...
