It's very very mild and that's with the muffler swap and resonator delete. Just changing the muffler only really deepens the tone. Plus your truck will run better. If your married to that lawnmower sound then Honda has a new 4 cylinder Civic out this year.
Sound videos usually aren't that helpful over the cellphone but I can try to post one. And no, it's not really loud inside the cab at all. These changes will just make it loud enough to to hear it. And it just sounds so much deeper and tougher. Try the Magnaflow Muffler first. It will definitely...
If you have a new 1500 with a 5.7L Hemi, by listening to your new Ram , you may be wondering if there actually is a Hemi under that hood. About 6 months ago I purchased a Magnaflow Muffler and had it installed at a local muffler shop. Great difference in tone after getting rid of that giant...
I think, if it's the spacer, then the problem is from the spacer slipping on 5he axle perch but Idk. The fact that I can barely hear it later in the day when it's hot out makes me think that it's all of my bushings back there. And that the heat loosens them up a little. Maybe I can try...
I have the Rough Country 3.5 inch lift on my RWD 1500. I wanted a little down rake back so I removed the 1 inch top rear spring spacers and installed aluminum 2.5 inch spacers that sit on the rear axle and fit to the bottom of my tear springs. I love the look and ride but now I'm hearing a lot...
Just got my Magnaflow performance muffler installed. One of the best mods I've done yet. Great sound and the truck runs so much better now after removing that huge and very restrictive factory muffler. Now with my Pulsar tunner ,set on Performance with MDS off, and my Pedal Commander this truck...
Trying to find a lift kit for my 2wd 1500 bighorn. I currently have a Rough Country 3.5 inch front and a 1 inch rear lift. I would like to either lift the whole truck or at least lift the rear another inch or 2. Does anyone know what will work on my truck?
I'm having trouble finding a lift kit for my 2wd 2020 1500. I currently have a Rough Country 3.5 inch in the front and only 1 inch in the rear. I would like to raise the whole truck a little or lift just the rear 1 or 2 inches more. Does anyone know what will work on my truck.
I have a 4×2 with a 3.92 ratio. Will it make a big difference switching to a 4.10 or a 4.56? All my driving is city and I rarely have it out on the highway. I only drive about 60 miles a week. Very short commute.
Has anyone heard about the possibility of switching to a 4:10 Rear Axle Ratio in the 5th gen 1500s. Is it possible, and is it easy to do without costing many thousands of dollars. I want to feel as much power in the lower gears as possible.
I want to add a little bit of a growl to my engine. Has anyone installed the Flowmaster replacement muffler yet. Thinking about doing it. But I don't want my exaust to be too loud. Any input?
I don't know about the 0 to 60 time gains. I'm more interested in the feel and driving experience. Both units, the Pulsar and the PC78 are a huge improvement from stock. Plus with my driving style I haven't sacrificed fuel economy either running both systems in Performance modes.
