    A Little Chrome Delete/Contrast Project

I used thinner masking tape in between the bars and then general masking around, as shown. I didn't have any overspray issues at all. I took a razor knife and scored a line around the bars once before peeling the masking tape off so it wouldn't pull. Worked out really well. I'm actually...

    A Little Chrome Delete/Contrast Project

I just masked between the bars. I didn't want to mess around with disassembling to block off behind the grill. Everything is a "process" with these front ends!

    A Little Chrome Delete/Contrast Project

So I actually like having chrome on my '19 Ram 1500 Laramie since it contrasts nicely with the Maximum Steel paint, but I thought there was a little too much chrome on the front end. It looked "busy" to me. So, yesterday, I plasti-dipped the two uppers and three lower grille bars to give it a...

    Grill Plasti Dipping

I tried vinyl wrapping them yesterday also, but because of the center indent on the bars the wrap was tough to work and ended up ripping on me when I heated it to work it some. With that being said, it was my first attempt at wrapping anything.

    Grill Plasti Dipping

I’m looking to plasti dip part of my chrome grill... the two bars above and three bars below the RAM emblem. Does anyone know if I can pop these chrome covers off without disassembling the whole grill off the truck? Option B is to mask off in between and spray on the truck. Anyone else do this...

    Rear Seat Cover Replacement Help

I purchased a new rear OE leather seat cover to replace one damaged from a lovely cat urine incident. All went well except for trying to reconnect the plastic channel that keeps the cover tight. Does anyone with upholstery experience have any tips to get these two channels to stretch close...

    2019 RAM 1500 hellwig swaybar

I also noticed that after tightening the nut on the end links, nowhere near any kind of bulge. I'm not worried, it's tight.

    Mid size Ram?

Precisely... Have you seen the RANGER?? Uggghhhh. I upgraded to my 1500 Laramie from a Taco and would have no problem going back to a mid-size Ram. As long as it's similar quality as the 1500s, Ram will give the boring GMs, plastic Tacos and - well, ok, the RANGER also, a helluva run for their...

    Mid size Ram?

I know they're working on the 1500 TRX currently. That would be pretty crazy, in a smaller platform like the Dakota! I just want to see what the mid-size is going to look like.

    Mid size Ram?

I'm interested in seeing this new mid-size option, hopefully a slightly smaller clone of the 1500 with style, options, and quality. Probably have to wait until it's debuted at the Detroit Show in June.

Replacing my TOW mirrors with Power Folding - 10% Cyber Monday

I paid $800 for everything, including the Genie and bypass module and mirrors that I found on Ebay.

Replacing my TOW mirrors with Power Folding - 10% Cyber Monday

I purchased from mopar retailer website and did the OBD Genie bypass and programming, not the dealer.

    Bilstein 5100

It must be the way the photos are taken, including mine. Definitely not nose high! Looks perfectly level and measures higher in the rear. Cost of the Mopar kit installed vs Bilsteins = no brainer!

    Bilstein 5100

I believe the lowest setting is the same as stock height. There's a chart that someone posted in this thread a while back that shows the settings and heights. It came with mine but don't have it in front of me to reference.

    Bilstein 5100

Had mine installed on Friday and drove it all weekend. Ecstatic to report that it rides wonderful. Much better dampening, steering and responsiveness on these western PA roads. Even though I thought my leveling kit rode ok over stock, now it makes it seem that it rode awfully with the kit on. So...
