Yes I’m going install myself, I’m thinking bout ordering the belltech kit with coilovers, but regardless which ever way I go I got to replace my springs
That’s what I was curious about, was also know the length of axles are same. I checked with Mopar parts and the axles definitely have two different part numbers, but doesn’t state what the difference is. That’s why I was just curious if anybody’s had axles out of both of these. And the...
Well not only is it a certain wheel, I also already have a set on welds in 5 lug pattern for when I go to the track. I don’t give a $hit bout resale, it’s paid off and got enough money in it as is. Y’all act like the job of doing it is like doing an engine overhaul, just got to find five lug...
Just curious if anyone has converted their 5th gen from 6 lug to 5 lug and what was involved. I’m wanting a certain rim for my truck and only offer in 5 lug configuration and I’m not big on doing wheel adapters or spacers. Will axles from a 4th gen swap right over or are the axles different from...
Did mine at max setting 2.8 and readylift UCA’s, rear 5100s and daystar 1” coil spacer. Gave it the perfect stance , I like a slight rake on my trucks and don’t really like when perfectly leveled or front sits higher. Tires are 295/65/20 toyo mts and had to do 0 trimming. Rides great!!
I’ve had a change of heart on my 21 night edition. As of right now I’m running the bilstein 5100s front and rear with the fronts set at max which I believe is 2.8 and in the rear I’ve got a 1” coil spacer along with front upper readylift UCA’s riding on stock wheels with 295/65/20s. Well I seen...
Installed my level kit few weeks ago and just got my new tires and alignment done over the weekend. Ended up going with the 5100’s front and rear, front struts are on #5 with factory ORPs and installed the Readylift control arms for insurance.. torqued every bolt to spec and rechecked after all...
For those of you that ordered the hellwig on your lifted level trucks, did you order it as the kit with the links? It says can be used with 2-4” lift. So technically since I have the ORP springs and I added a 1” spacer to the rear I have 2” of lift.. so should I order the kit with the links or...
Just had a level kit and put on some 295/65/20s on my 21’ 1500. The dealership said they can recalibrate it for $125? Should I go that route or is there a handheld programmer that will do it for the 21’ models?
Yes I had ordered my 5100 front struts through bilsteinlifts and I got my rear 5100s through summit racing cause they were the only ones who had them in stock! But yes on the safe side I’d just go to your dealer and just order 2 new nuts with the Teflon just for safe insurance, but looks like...
I found my package the hardware came in, I even included a pic of it not even threading on the factory strut. When I took my bilstein strut out to my shop and put it up on my vise to run my tap n die set on it to clean the threads up the strut shaft was a 1/2npt20 and the nut was a 7/16” npt 20.
If I knew I was gonna have that headache and take me that long over a simple nut I would have paid someone, but I’ve got all the tools and enjoy doing it so what the hell. 🤙
🤔 I’m glad I’m not the only one, cost me a lot of time cause I Didn’t know what to do, but if you look at the nuts the had an almost oval shape to them like they were wrapped, they threaded the same way on my stock struts too!
