    Idle Oil Pressure Difference

Mine hangs around 35-40 at idle

    MFT: Yes or no?

MFT is one of my favorite options on my truck next to the Ram Boxes. It is not 100% sealed with the tonneau cover but that is not a problem for the cargo that I often carry.

    Best oil to use

A year ago I found Shell Rotella Gas Truck 5w-20 full synthetic on sale at Advance Auto with a coupon for $9 per 5qt jug. I drove around to multiple stores and bought all of it I could find. ~25 jugs. After sending in for an analysis I like how its performing at 6000k intervals. Has a good Moly...

Does anyone carry an ATV in the bed?

Anybody know if the MFT is rated for the same 2000lbs?

    RamBox warped and misaligned

My driver side box has a slight warp in it. Tough to notice on an all black truck, but I constantly see it. I am convinced that with payload numbers being so low on the fully loaded trim packages, FCA decided they needed to cut material and weight everywhere possible. The ramboxes seem to be one...

Steering Directed Headlights on the Limited

This was very obvious to me when I first got the truck. Honestly thought I was sliding the first time I saw them move. Now I am used to it, but it is obvious if you are turning with lights shining into the trees or against a building.

    B2 Exhaust Installation

I used copper permatex as well, with the redesigned clamp and some home made "gasket" in there I got that sucker tight. No leaks.

    Buy now or just relax?

I watched prices on new '20 Limited trim trucks from April - August this year. For me it ended up being more about FINDING the truck I wanted in stock over getting the best possible deal. Stock was low and I think it remains that way at this point. I pulled the trigger on the exact truck I...

    Ecodiesel and extreme cold

Higher idle definitely HELPS prevent wet-stacking. That is pretty much undisputed across nearly all diesel engines. A manual elevated idle option is or has been a standard feature on many trucks for this exact reason. Often times increased oil pressure alone makes a big difference in wear over a...

    Previous Vehicle

'08 2500 Silverado LMM Duramax EFI Live + lots of mods. Drove it 260k miles and towed all around the country. Awesome engine and transmission inside of an absolute terribly built truck. Loved it for towing and 1000ft lbs of torque was fun. Hated just about everything else about it. Owned 3 GM...

Anyone jnow why they switched from tow hooks to loops?

Ahh ok, makes sense. I have looped the strap on itself before and ended up having to cut the strap because it pulled so tight. I guess I should have a couple shackles on hand just in case. They are probably much easier to use when its 10 degrees and everything is covered in ice and snow too.

Anyone jnow why they switched from tow hooks to loops?

I am not aware of the obvious here, so forgive me. What would be the problem with hooking a strap with a hook into the recovery loop?

Is my truck leveled or lifted?

If both the front and both the rear are all at the same height, by definition I would call that "level";)

*UPDATE* $250 Rebate on ALL New Rams

It took about a month from filling out the form to receiving my check in the mail. Easiest $250 I have ever made.

    cooper STT pro

I had a set on my previous truck, 2500 Silverado Duramax. Good tire, not too loud until they were down to about 50% tread. got 40,000 miles out of them. Rode very firm though. Handled snow covered logging trails and loose terrain pretty well.
