You should obviously measure to be sure. I wanted it to fit snuggly, so I think I measured and started at 67.25" and just kept shaving off slivers until it fit just right. So you wouldn't be able to get more than one from a 8ft board. But is really is quite solid and just fits in the slot, so...
I wanted to be able to put items in the back and not have them slide forward. It is a black vinyl fence rail I found at Home Depot. I cut it to size and it fits perfectly into either of the rear slots on the side. depending on how much space you need. Seems strong enough and very light weight...
The bubbles do seem to go down when it cools off, but they are still evident that the top layer has seperated. I didn't hear back from Extang with any info, but then got a email that they are shipping a new one.
We were limited as to which toneau covers would work with MFT. I picked the Solid Fold because I thought it looked nice and it installed really easy. But after only 3 days we hit a sunny 75 day and all 3 panels had bubbles/ripples in them. Has anyone seen this? I submitted a warranty claim but...
I haven't been able to figure out why the auto stop-start is active or inactive at the times it is. It displays a message that it is deactivated because there is no heating or cooling. That seems like the opposite of what I would expect. Isn't it when there is heating or cooling load that you...
you are quoting language that mentions FIAT, they were not even in the picture when we purchased the plan in 2008 from Chrysler, as I had mentioned. At the time Chrysler had a Lifetime Powertrain warranty, and we purchased the Lifetime Max Care service contract. Again, I agree that I don't...
I am not confused, I agree. I am simply repeating the facts as related to our dealer by FCA as to why they canceled them both.
The service contract has language in it that states it does not cover anything that would otherwise be covered by manufacturer or other warranty.
Yes that is correct. However, the language in the Max Care contract left enough wiggle room that their lawyers felt that the two products work hand in hand, so if you didn't comply with one they could cancel both. I don't agree, and stated so in my unanswered letters. There is nothing in the Max...
We were offered several warranty packages when we bought our truck last week, but I didn't take any of them due to our previous experience with FCA. (They were all from a 3rd party called Fortegra) In 2008 we bought a Lifetime (unlimited years and miles) Max Care plan from Chrysler. I figure...
I just picked up a BTS last week in MN. I had been my list narrowed down to several Laramie's but then I found this one that had almost everything I had been looking for plus some. It has been interesting reading through this thread, so I thought I share here. This is our 1st truck, and overall...
