    Desert Dawg Ram Rebel Build

I'll always love the FJ Cruiser. That's actually what I had before the Rebel. Loved everything about it except that I seemed to go through windshields every 5,000 miles.

Rc 3.5 vs bilstein 6112/5160 help

What did the OP end up doing? I did the 6112s on setting 8 up front with motofab .5” spacer up front (like @SurfRebel20 ), Icon delta joint UCAs, 5160s with 1” motofab spacer + Rebel springs in the rear, 18” Icon Rebound wheels, 35” BFG KO2s. Everything feels perfect. Only minor trimming...

Lets See Some Rebels with 6112/5160 8th clip on 35s

The KO2s are the best of the best when it comes to not having to sacrifice any on-road and/or off-road performance. You get the best of both worlds with these tires. Ask anybody who has raced professionally, the BFGs are Baja Champions for a reason. While they might not all use KO2s on their...

Lets See Some Rebels with 6112/5160 8th clip on 35s

250 miles later, no settling, but it feels a lot softer/smoother than day 1. Love it!

Thanks! the headlights and fog lights have LaminX on them. I went clear on the headlights and yellow on the fogs. I haven't noticed a difference really. But, I've only driven it for maybe 10 minutes at night since installing. I need more excuses to go out on night drives.

Lets See Some Rebels with 6112/5160 8th clip on 35s

I removed the mud flap and hammered the mounting tab flat against the fender. Then I heated the mudflaps and reshaped them to work for my purposes. I then reinstalled that and did minor trimming off the inner back end of the mudflap and shortened the fender liners a tad to ensure no rubbing. I...

Lets See Some Rebels with 6112/5160 8th clip on 35s

Thanks! In some ways stiffer and some ways softer. It corners better with less roll than before. And it goes over the rough stuff softer than before. The digressive valving of the shocks is nice.

It has no poke at all. It's perfectly flush with the fender flares. I'll take some more pics and post them later today.
