Can anything be done about the erectile dysfunction ads that are getting more and more vulgar ?

I’ve never seen one on here... just clear your cache and or select “do not track” on your phone.

I don't have adds here, but at HDRAMS.COM all I see are truck ads.

moving this to the site forum...maybe @Jared B may have a suggestion but the above 2 are good ones

I don’t know that I have ever seen such an ad on this forum. Heck I never look at the ads anyway. Are the ads generated by web searches?

Aside from the occasional spam post, I'm not seeing any ads either, but I have most of the settings locked down to avoid pop-ups and ads.

You could buy a membership to get rid of the ads if you're interested.

Most of the ads are Ok, and yes I forgot / didn't know about subscribing, that is something to consider. Does the owners / management get revenue from the ads?

Jordan, your comment came at a poor time for me, I received my fourth quotation today on trading my Limited in to solve MY problem of frustration with dealers / FCA in regards to the mirror situation. It was all bad news, because of the deep discounting in the USA by FCA the brokers are also discounting on the used side, my truck lost $ 14,000.00 cdn (% 20). The residual values look bad for all of us in the future. If I am ever successful in trading it in the ads or a subscription will be a non-issue.

If you don't want to look at erectile ads, don't look at erectile searches. That's how these ads are generated (cookies) which are based on your browsing history.
What a joke, at age 74 and with ED for many years my doctor will not even prescribe Viagra because of a bad heart. The next ad is for large water pumps with big electric motors, what would I need that for?

That means you've looked at something in relation to pumps/electric what have you. I'm a freelance developer, in fact I've developed a few javascript libraries that even google uses. These ads are based on relevant data on the site and your searches.

So I just cleaned the cookies and the rest of the stuff that chrome wanted me to, and started back up signing into all my sites again, guess what,... a dating site popped up? No cookies?

this is what this site says; " This site uses cookies to help personalise content, tailor your experience and to keep you logged in if you register.
By continuing to use this site, you are consenting to our use of cookies"

If you're using chrome, or are logged into google. Say hello to google tracking what you do regardless if you delete your cookies or not ;)
Ads are tracked through cookie use, browser storaage and even through extensions you use.

Your best bet when you're looking at ****** pills and girls (or guys) 1/3rd of your age is to probably use a different browser and use incognito haha

As mentioned before the ads are served based on your browser viewing/search history (sorry to say). That said I wasn't aware that it was serving those types of ads so I can check and see if I can stop those from showing up.

Thanks Jared, this is my last post on this subject. Kind of a ironic parallel between the mirror situation and the ads, it is always my fault, maybe on the mirrors, with some help, but really do not understand the ad thing (even if based on browser viewing history) , 1. they obviously have to some kind of permission to be able to appear on this site and 2. no other automotive site that I visit do these type of ads show up. If I keep the Limited I will subscribe. Thanks again. :)
