My 2021 1500 Limited has had issues with the backup camera cutting in and out. I got a camera module from a wrecker (after getting a quote for $1000 CAD from Dealer!!!), but its not the camera itself. I tracked the issue back to the connector for the small coax cable underneath the tailgate. It is a removable connector so you can remove the tailgate (which we have never done previously). If I put pressure on the left-side/truck-side of this cable, the video signal is good, but on its own, the connector does seem to stay in firm enough.

I can try replacing the wiring harness: https://store.mopar.com/oem-parts/mopar-jumper-wiring-68488448aa, but was thinking if this is a common connector, it may be easier to just run a 2nd wire. It looks like a small coax - is this a Farka connector? If so, which variation?

Yes, it's a Fakra connection. You should be able to match the connector to pictures online.

Fakra H. You can replace just the plastic shell itself. Pull the side locking clip out and depress the small plastic retainer inside the housing to separate the assembly. This is for the female connector.
