AlfaOBD Known Changes 5th Gen

Chiming in here with a 2024 Durango...yes, I know, but not getting any help in the Durango forum. I am making changes to add window down with key fob, and it sets it, but it's not working. Does it take a day or so for the option to work?? I'm at a loss. Thanks

If it's like the 5th gen RAM, it doesn't work

If Z-automltive makes a Tazer for the Durango, that should allow it.
They do. Pricey. Anyway does anyone know why changes cant be done to the newer years? The settings stick when using Alfa, but they don't have any effect. Just curious as to what has changed?
So I am just throwing this out there. Has anyone tried making changes on the newer vehicles, and reset the vehicles modules, and u connect??? Then 2 sleep cycles of the vehicle? This is needed using a tazer. Maybe that's the key? Or just wishful thinking.

The door modules don't support the function.

Tazer is doing a "live" function, essentially mimicking button presses.

Found this posted in the main Alfa thread. Will add it to the front page.
In case anyone wants to add the factory powered side steps and does not want to pay the dealer for the added sales code here is what I changed in AlfaOBD. Took about 24 hours for the soft key on the 12" screen to show up and the settings option. Also when you deploy or retract the steps a little notification pops up on the gauge cluster.
I've attached photos of the 3 areas that were enabled. Cabin Net-PSSM Power Side Step Module; Cust.Set.Menu 3-Power Side Step Enable/Disable CSM Present; Cust.Set.Menu 2- Automatic Side Step CSM Present.

Will this work on any electric side steps?

New to AlfaOBD and have a couple of questions. I have a 2021 RAM 1500 Classic Tradesman with the 3.6 l Pentastar engine and would love to do some tweaking to it with the app like enabling the LED lights, enabling lowering the front windows with the FOB, programming new FOB's and so on. Now I know I will need the security bypass cable, the OBDLink MX+ and the app of course. Now, in my year and model will I be able to pull the PIN with the app or am I fried with the rolling PIN thing ? Other than making sure to back up my original configuration and doing one tweak at a time and waiting before doing the next what else should I be aware of when using the app on my truck ? Is this thread the main AlfaOBD thread or is there other I should give a read first and if so do you have the link for it ? Thanks so much in advance for your responses.
