2025 Ram 1500 Current Owners - Discussion, Feedback, and Problems

In regards to the power increases, that’s running E85 fuel. Power gains for 91 octane are much more modest. Having said that, I bought said tuner and it is noticeably peppier in everyday driving. I have no plans to run 93, e30, or e85 to really take advantage of the tuner.

Agree 100%
Yeah, but…unless the fix is something that can be fixed OTA… they’re only gonna issue a TSB (which the major population is unaware of, yes, we’re geeks) and it’ll only get fixed if A. A person go to the dealership and B. The dealer is competent enough to look it up.
100% agree

@Jimmy07 would be very good for input on this.
My totally uneducated guess would be they would keep the new Atlantis architecture, and modify interface modules as needed.
The 2026 hemi will be on the Atlantis architecture
I think this is where the engineers said it would take over a year, and Kuniskis pushed, and they did it in 6 months or something much less than planned (which *might* be cause for concern).
I think they purposely said that, knowing it wouldn’t take long at all, to frame themselves as “heroes” to us for adapting it so quick. The PCM is the only thing that needed to be programmed for new architecture, but this has already long been done, being that the 2022 wagoneer used the 5.7 hemi on the Atlantis architecture. So all they really had to do was tweak the engine calibration.

All I run is 93, I may need to consider this....did you run in to any issues installing the tuner?

Speaking of dyno numbers, these are nuts for a factory truck..

dyno recording 461.2 horsepower and 484.1 lb-ft at the wheels

That's pushing 26psi too. I'll stick with my 8-9psi and after 5 reliable and easy to work on Hemi's, I'll keep what I built.

Seems peeps keep trying to justify their little 6 cylinder overboosted engines. No doubt they are powerful for a little motor. Maybe they will prove to be decent engines, but still no replacement for displacement.

Orrrr.... did "they" say that because "they" didn't want to do it at all? But, the boss overruled them and said "make it happen" and then it miraculously didn't take that long?

Doesn't a stock SST HO make more torque at every RPM than a stock 5.7 Hemi?

If so, that seems like a 100% replacement for displacement...

Clearly there is a replacement ;)

Nope. Part still on back order with no eta. But don’t worry, it has an “expedited” request. Whatever the F that means. I asked why they can’t just take a part from the assembly line and they said they are “different parts from different manufacturers.” I don’t know anymore. They offered to extend my warranty once I do get this fixed so we will see how that unfolds.

That could be cool if it’s a blanket extension. Not that a radio extension would be bad but…
