In cases like this, they should penalize the liar.I have a BlackVue front and rear camera system. I also have the optional polarizing filter, which removes windshield glare and reflections, for a cleaner video.
It saved me once. I was driving to work and was side-swiped by a speeding driver who lost control of his vehicle. He told the police I changed lanes into him. The video proved otherwise, and I was found 0% responsible. Michigan assigns a percentage of driver responsibility, and a dashcam is a must in my opinion.
FitcamX has the polarized lenses for anti-glarreI have the FitcamX on my truck front and rear. bought extended rear cam harness to put the rear cam inside my GFC camper's window and ran the wire out via firewall. With the connector hidden inside the housing, I only had to run the rear cam cable in the headliner and down the pillar.
I also have the Viofo on my BMW E90 M3 front and rear. I like Viofo has the option to add on a lens filter for anti-glare and the quality, but the downside is I had to run that wire down to the fusebox and when running rear cam wire at the same time it's a royal PITA to hide the rear cam wire AND the power cable on the same side.
I don't waste my time with parking mode. im not draining my battery and overheating my unit.
Running wires in these trucks is really easy though. Even I could do it.I purchased the FitCamX a couple weeks ago but have still not had a chance to install it. I got only the 4k front camera and the optional polarized lens cover. I didn't want to run any wires. But I do like that once it's installed, it's very discreet.
even better! an option that I didn't know existed LOLFitcamX has the polarized lenses for anti-glarre

I have received the "three channel" VIOFO A329s w/ the HK4 - can I ask which fuses you used to connect the hardware kit? TYIAI have a "dual channel" (front and rear camera) in my truck - VIOFO A329 4K 60FPS Dash Cam Front and Rear, with a VIOFO HK4 Hardwire Kit. I had a dash camera in my previous car that I sold when I moved, and that one paid for itself when it proved the other person was at fault (rather than being 50/50) and thus I got my deductible back. I highly recommend everyone have a dash camera.
I wish I had a dash camera in my first car way back when, where someone hit my car in a parking lot and drove off.
I have it another of my posts in a different thread. I’m on the road now… so can’t look for it for you. You sh out I’d be able to find it .I have received the "three channel" VIOFO A329s w/ the HK4 - can I ask which fuses you used to connect the hardware kit? TYIA
