2025 Ram 1500 Current Owners - Discussion, Feedback, and Problems

Okay, I searched pretty extensively and I wasn't able to find an answer to this, or anyone else having a similar problem.
This is my second truck with the Air Suspension, the 2019, and now this 2025. I had no issues on my 2019, but I'm having trouble getting this thing to listen to me.
1. When I'm in the truck, 98% of the time, pushing the button to change the height, either when stopped or moving, etc, doesn't do anything. NO message on the screen that selected ride height isn't available, no change in position. But after no discernable sequence of holding it down, double clicking, and anger pressing, etc... Suddenly it will start to change and either go to where I selected, OR give me the message that I'm trying to go too far and it's not allowed.
2. When I'm out of the truck and I use the remote to drop it like it's hot, I rarely get anything to happen. Usually, I will get a single beep, followed by 2 beeps in succession. But it doesn't lower. This is with the doors closed, tailgate up, etc.. Doesn't matter if it's running or not. Extra Frustrating because I like to use this feature to lower my vehicle under my trailer hitch, and the raise it to the trailer.
3. Speaking of raising it to the trailer, what the heck is the deal now with not being able to raise the truck if the door is open.. If I''m stepping out to move the hitch over the ball, then raising the truck to meet the trailer, I'm going to have to open the door, and don't want to sit there and wait inside the vehicle, I want to go out and make sure it's working....
unhook batterie for an hour hopefully will reset system to talk to each other

APPROACH LIGHTING: Dealer says fixed. Also says, headlights coming on is dependent on ambient lighting (I assume not street lighting but sunshine). Tested SAT in the garage repeatedly. Hopefully the below will help someone. They said they used the manual for the reprogram.IMG_9161.jpeg

I can certainly give that a shot. Just the main battery or do I have to unhook both of them? I've actually had to have the truck towed twice because my battery ran down so low I couldn't even lock it and it wouldn't accept a charge. What I would give for that top 12 volt power to be switched.

I still don't think the Proximity Wake-up and Headlight Animation work properly on my Tungsten. If I unlock with FOB, the headlight animation works. But if I just walk up to the truck with the FOB in my pocket, nothing happens. I have all the options turned on, with time settings other than 0. I left the truck locked, and walked into the store (or work or wherever), and then later approach the truck. Never get anything to happen unless I press the unlock button on the FOB. Am I missing something?

From everything I've read, these truck don't do that. I think by proximity, they mean you press the fob within it's working proximity and everything lights up.

That's what I was starting to think. I read the manual again, and it made me want to ask the question here. It really sounds like you just have to have the FOB.
From the owner's manual:
Proximity Wake-Up — If Equipped
This feature is enabled/disabled within the Uconnect system, and is activated when the operator approaches the driver’s door, passenger’s door, or liftgate with a valid key fob on their person. Some exterior and interior lights will illuminate in order to provide an increased sense of welcome and security as the operator approaches the vehicle in the dark. “Headlight Illumination On Approach” must be selected and set to a time value other than zero within Uconnect Settings for Proximity Wake-Up to activate.
The doors may be locked or unlocked for this feature to activate, as long as the ignition is in the OFF position, or during a Remote Start event. It will not activate if the doors are locked and the ignition was placed in the ON/RUN position.

Did anyone read this? 🤣

Ok fine. Make me admit it. I read it. More and twice. Still not sure what it says..... lol.
They fixed my approach lighting by reprogramming the dashboard.
But also,
I got this error today on my radio after a failed update yesterday. Has anyone seen this?
