2025 Ram 1500 Current Owners - Discussion, Feedback, and Problems

I was going to jokingly say there must've been a strong tailwind on his trip too. :) I'm happy as hell for him - I hope he continues to do that well.

I'm not seeing anything close to what everyone else is getting. I understand I'm only at 2k miles, but I drive like a little old lady trying to get my mileage up. I tend to not use cruise because it's so aggressive on hills. I also have done almost no real highway driving, so that hurts the overall. I'm looking forward to a road trip to see what happens. In any case, 13-14 mpg sucks at this point.

stopping in NJ (VA-CT) to hit the head. 72mph average, no traffic, this is the second stop.
25.2mpg when I shutdown. 87 octane. I’ve gone about 240 miles so far.
I’ve never seen those numbers before in a truck, I’m surprised it knew how to make them😂

What trim? What gears? I have a rebel with 392 gears. Only time I've seen anything above 20 mpg is when I have the wind at my back!
lol i have a rebel 800 pounds in bed i get 14.7 avg since new 10000 miles.

It also helped that it was 80° for a large portion of the trip. Also, no real traffic. It’s the stop and go that kills it (plus continual hills).
On 95 in CT with no traffic, I get about 22/22.5 for a 40 mile trip on account of the hills. And I use adaptive cruise control as much as possible.

I'm tempted to take a 100 mile trip down the interstate just to see what happens.

We all can get those numbers if we hit reset on mpg avg when i am driving at 70. Soon as you get off highway it will go back down. My challenger gets 29 mpg on highway only.
Nope. I filled up the night before and reset the avg, went a couple/3 miles to where I was staying. The next day I drove city for 7 miles to the interstate, then drove from VA to CT. Started on the interstate at 13mpg. Made 4 stops.
No games, no other resets.

I have had my 2025 Tungsten since September 24 but have only logged 6,000 miles on it so far - I work from home. It has been pretty trouble free since new and has not required any visits to a dealership so far. There have been a few glitches in the electronics but each time, a restart of the truck seems to sort them out. Nothing major, but a flashing odometer once, the 4wd needs service once, a few others but nothing a restart seemed to fix. So far its been a good truck that I really enjoy driving. It's my third RAM pickup.

I did make 2 mods that I wanted to give a shout out to. One is the recently released 2025 RAM autostart eliminator from the company with the same name. I am just not a fan of that auto start 'feature' and that small harness plugin makes driving the truck much more enjoyable. The other is the JB4 tuner boost enhancer. I have tried both the 91 octane and 93 octane maps and they are awesome. Nice smooth power increases. Just wanted to pass those along to anyone interested in some mod feedback for our 2025 RAM's.

Autostart? What’s that?

EDIT: oh. Auto Stop/start. Got it. I’m going to wait for AlfaOBD to catch up to the new CANBUS, and hopefully use it there

Went to the dealer. These are the codes stored. I have an appointment for next Monday. They’re going to do the approach lighting STAR then also. Anyone know what these codes are about?
