Favorite Apps - empty
Several times now I’ve tried to set a few apps as favorite. Seems to work fine (the starred apps appear in the Favorites page)…until I shut it off. When it starts up the Favorites page is blank. Once in while one might stay there a couple of times. But the behavior is hit-or-miss.
Wondering if I’m doing something wrong, or if this is just another of the hiccups this system has. (There are others, like the camera delay stays enabled even when it’s unchecked, or the turn signal camera not staying persistent after being set.). It’s almost like there’s a SAVE button I’m missing.

Mine does that. Sometimes leaving favorites for all apps then going back in and they populate. Definite bug

sometimes when I turn my wipers off they stop about an inch above the standard park position. If I cycle them again they unusually park in the correct location, just a little annoying.

So the other day the screen on my truck stopped registering touches. Everything functions normal but I cannot touch the screen and have it register. Disconnected the batteries for 10 minutes and no change.
Took it to the dealer and they said the “brain” would need to be replaced, nothing to do with the actual screen. Of course, a new “brain” is ordered with no ETA.

Working as a Ram dealer tech, I have all that information....

Are you still a tech? Have you had any issues with trucks flashing trailer brakes disconnected, other random errors and the odometer flashing? I have also had the digital cluster freeze on push button to start even when the truck is started and driving…. Any idea if the cause/fix?

Anyone else still have the rough idle on cold start? It’s revs high for a bit to be expected, but I still have the rough idle revving up and down a little, until it normalizes after about 30 seconds


I’ve pretty much always had the issue, but previously it came with a CEL (no longer have that).

Yeah, mine will grunt and groan a bit on cold starts too

Same, has always done , 17000 miles later still doing it . Been told it's normal for turbos! My wife's jeep has a 2.0 4 cylinder turbo does the same thing!

Has anyone else experiencing their approach lights not working - have yours suddenly begun working as they should? I noticed mine are now coming on every time I unlock the truck like they're supposed to. Idk if an update got pushed through or what, but they just randomly began working lol

Known issue. My dealer will do a STAR investigation when I have the time.

Anyone else still have the rough idle on cold start? It’s revs high for a bit to be expected, but I still have the rough idle revving up and down a little, until it normalizes after about 30 seconds

There was tsb update back in september that fixes it. Mine use do the same thing now 1700 rpm solid on cold start.

Same here. It does seem like it idles high for longer than I'd expect, but I'm not basing that on anything solid. I find myself waiting for it to idle down. If I'm in a hurry, I really don't like dropping it into gear while it's revving that high.

Update

stopping in NJ (VA-CT) to hit the head. 72mph average, no traffic, this is the second stop.
25.2mpg when I shutdown. 87 octane. I’ve gone about 240 miles so far.
I’ve never seen those numbers before in a truck, I’m surprised it knew how to make them

I agree it idles so high so long for many reason. With direct injection and cats need to warm up 0 40 oil is a little thicker best to let warm up idle down and drive slow till warm and 93 octane.

Have been using 93. And trying to get in the habit of starting remotely just a minute before I walk out to the truck.

Yeah, well… now I have a CEL (persisted through 2 stops). No idea why .

Also, does anyone know what I may have done wrong with my Mopar in-channel deflectors that causes the window to boop down sometimes when shutting? I’ve already done the calibration. Thanks
