2025 RAM 1500 BIGHORN 3.0 I HURRICANE twin-turbo, SO, 420HP - check engine light

Lawyer was my fix. Well, that and a new rcsb f150, from which I've had zero problems so far. Making two truck payments sucks, but I don't worry about whether the truck is going to **** the bed on me just driving across town.

Can you post an exhaust clip? What did you go with?

Thought I would add to the Check engine light delight! 1100KM 680 Miles. Pulled the code and it is showing P0420 Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 1). Taking this into the dealership later this week, it hasn't affect the performance of the truck. But still really frustrating.

That will be interesting. I'm guessing either it will turn out to be an oxygen sensor gone bad or the catalytic converter in question gone bad.

Yeah, P0420 Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 1) is new. I havent seen that on here yet. Welcome to the chaos...hopefully you get a quick fix.

So...took my truck in for a Service (oil change and tire rotation) and mentioned the UConnect kept popping up to have a dealer service it. When I picked up the truck the Service Tech said the technician couldn't reproduce the results but if it happens again to bring it back in....lol...WHAT??!! So you can tell me that you couldn't produce the results again and waste my time? Are these pop ups store anywhere like the Check engine codes? I really don't want this pop up to happen into perpetuity.

what are you getting for oil pressure going down the road

Try taking a picture. Not that it will do any good as my dealership was not able to resolve my pop up error message "uconnect box requires service". I've just resigned myself to hitting ok whenever it pops up

Electrical problems unhook both batteries for an hour and when you go to start put in acc let computers talk to each other for a few mins then start worked on my truck..

Hello, everyone,

I wanted to provide an update on the ongoing challenges I’m facing. The issues with my truck have persisted and seem to be worsening, while the service and response times have significantly declined. Error code after error code appears, yet the authorized RAM service technicians seem only to reset them without actually addressing the root cause of the problems. Despite having fewer than 10,000 miles on the truck, the “check engine” light has been a constant companion.

Recently, I’ve encountered a serious issue: the entire truck shakes violently when accelerating to 60 mph, making it extremely unstable and unsafe to drive. I’ve already replaced the battery, but every time I start the vehicle, I brace myself, anticipating something else going wrong—and I’m rarely proven wrong.

The situation has become financially and emotionally exhausting. The truck’s value has dropped significantly, and if I were to sell it now, I would effectively lose the $20,000 down payment I initially made. I’m completely drained and at my wit’s end.

Does anyone have any advice or suggestions for what I can do at this point? I mean law firm, something.....I'm so sick of this....

DO NOT BUY THIS TRUCK!!!

How are you. You are the original poster for the ram truck problems dude. I traded a 2022 scat pack wide body 2021 ram built to serve in anvil color very rare.My new truck was 80000 out door then dealer took 10000 off i ended up financing 20000 after money i made on trade in and i am pissed just like you.No cels all updates so far and my truck surges bad i can only drive super slow or super fast. But what is crazy when its cold out drives perfect. When its above 50 degrees surge city. i have been waiting for a post from you its been a long time i was hoping your problems were fixed.

o just stick it out hope something breaks or cel that will tell them what to fix . I'm selling mine when 3 years or 36000 miles what ever comes first by then truck value will level out hemi should be back.I knew not to buy it but i wanted the new toy before the other kids .

Ouch! I've been wondering how you were doing Russian Tank. Sucks that nothing got fixed and you are still having issues.
I'm good. The truck is a pain in the ***. I want to take my AA-12, load it with slugs, and unload it on this truck....But I wouldn't have anything else to drive if I did that.

Keep pushing the dealer and Ram for sure. Hope you figure this out and get something you worked out.

There has got to be a Lemon Law lawyer that could help. I assume you documented everything so enough exhibits representing how messed up the truck is should be a sure win and no windfall penalty for you from the defective crap you are dealing with. Sorry you haven't got resolve brotha.

Working on it as we speak. Now, we're fighting...I'm going for buy back.

I think I started the lemon law process this last November. I still haven't received an offer from ram yet, but the lawyer's office thinks one will be forthcoming soon. Ram took a long time to respond to the law firm's letters, well over a month if I remember correctly. So, you should probably not expect anything to happen at a reasonable pace.

I don't understand why some take longer than others. I submitted mine in December and I came to an agreement middle of February. I ended up settling with an amount and just moved on.
