I test drove a '25 Limited, fully loaded. Basically, the same truck as what I have now, except I have an EcoDiesel.

I definitely liked that HO motor. It was FUN.

Otherwise, the new Limited is actually not as nice as my current one (a '21). My seats are all leather (or leather-like). The new ones have actual cloth inserts in the front and rear seats surrounding the central leather(-like?) portions.

And my truck has nice leather and wood wrapping the steering wheel. The new steering wheel felt like the same plasticy material that the dash is made of. Not nearly as nice.

I did like the Uconnect 5 with built-in wireless Carplay and being able to run Google Maps in full screen mode. And I did like the built-in massaging in the front seats.

In the end, they offered me $35K as their best offer for my truck on trade. A '21 Limited with all the options, including Night Edition, mint condition (with ceramic coating) and 76K miles. Not enough for me to do a trade and keep my payment the same.

I said thanks anyway and went home. I like my ED way better than the Hemis I've had before (including a '19 5th gen), so I'll be keeping my ED for the time being.

I hope you didn't let your current truck see you test-driving another truck.

If you did, start putting some dollars aside. You're gonna need it soon....

I finished the wiring days ago, but just got a chance for day pics right now..dusk/night will be later.
(I really want to figure out how to make the Signature "brow" lights brighter/more prominent)

After my failed attempt on Saturday to swap springs for the Fox 2.5 I noticed the truck was pulling to the right. So got it aligned.

And then as it was sitting on the rack I got instruction from Fox on how to swap springs for the coilover...
well i guess another alignment is needed in a few weeks.

Drove it to work in some **** *** weather. Was sunny and 75 here yesterday. Left my house to roads covered in pea sized hail, by the time I got to work it has switched to snow. Interstate was covered by about 1.5" of slush. 6f4a4134-ea11-4475-9cc1-0e553b0e7f1f.jpg

Yikes. I spent the day on a jeep trail east of Tombstone in the beautiful Arizona sunshine. Then stopped at the Tombstone brewery for a couple of their Helles Dorados lagers. Being retired has it's perks.
