So I had an OPT7 60" Redline Triple Row LED Tailgate Light Bar w/Sequential Amber Turn Signal on my 2021 Limited, so before I traded it I took it off along with the 7 pin to 4 pin trailer connector adaptor. It has a 7 pin male connector on one side and a 7 pin female on the other, you unplug the trailer connector from the back side of the bumper, and place this cable between the original plug and the socket (Back side of the bumper). The you get a pigtail with a 4 pin connector on it. Then you can plug the led light bar into that. My bad for not "testing" the setup before installing, but now with the light bar plugged in, I get an error on the dash indicating there is a problem with the trailer lights.
I have seen on OPT7's website that they had issues wit hthe turn signals not working on the newer F-150's and the sell a cable system that plug in between the tail lights they call it vehicles with (BLIS), however the light bar works perfectly, brake, turn, hazard, and backup lights from
Genron. Any one had a similar situation on the newer RAM trucks?
