Would you buy it again?

The big question, would you buy your ram again? I am about to pull the trigger on the new Ram, however everyone I know is telling me don't do it, they don't hold up, not reliable, etc. I drove a limited and loved it. Would rather have a GM ONLY for the 6.2 but HATE the interior as most do. I know all vehicles have their issues but just looking to make the right one. Thanks.

Yes, but would probably add a couple more options or change it up a little. No regrets (y)

Absolutely!! 100% !!! I do not regret my decision to get my RAM. I came out of a 2015 GMC SIERRA and this truck is superior in every way.

Growing up, I always thought that Chrysler vehicles were junk. Probably because they were in the 1980's.. However, times have changed and they really are very well built vehicles. The past few generations are as reliable as any Chevy or Ford. Plus, depending who's commercials you believe, they all make the most reliable, longest lasting pickups on the planet!!

I have no brand loyalty, but a lot of people do.. and they have blinders on when it comes to other brands... Ford guys think Chevy and RAM are junk...Chevy guys think Ford and RAM are junk, etc., etc......

The Fords are pretty nice, I have to say, just not as nice as the RAM. The GMC/Chevy?? Nah. Garbage!! -- from personal experience-- Everything I hated about my GMC still exists in the 2019 model, starting at the awful interior.. Compare the chassis on a GM to the RAM and you tell me which one is not going to hold up..

So far so good. No issues with my truck other than glitchy infotainment, which is currently tolerable.

Love the truck, would definitely buy again, unless the updated 2500's are out.........

Would certainly buy the Ram. Hey, every brand can have its share of problems. I wouldn't hesitate to buy the Ram if you enjoyed test driving the Limited.

If your friends or family are making your payments... then I would listen to them. If not, tell them politely that they will be sad when you won't give them a ride in your new Ram, because when they see it and feel how well built and solid it is, they will be green with envy.

Every time I start my Rebel I grin and think how fortunate I am to have such an exciting truck to drive every day. Yes, to answer your question, yes I would buy my truck again and again and again.

I would definitely buy again, with the only "regrets" from this time being that I didn't get any traction aide in the rear end (e-locker or lsd), and I would probably go with RamBoxes this time, just for funsies. (They were on production hold when I bought my truck in August).

Edit: oh, and maybe 3.92's but not sure.

I would buy another one with the 33 gallon tank/anti-slip diff from factory.

Outside of that, yea I enjoy the truck.

Absolutely! Ram has come along way but that reliability stigma continues to linger (the disaster of 2014-2015 with all FCA vehicles). All of my friends asked me “why Ram?!?”. The ride, build quality, interior, 5.7 Hemi, etc all speak for themselves! I love seeing all the accolades Ram is getting though from publications.

Car and Driver updated their truck ranking list, putting Ram as #1 over the F-150:
https://www.caranddriver.com/features/g15379805/best-full-size-pickup-truck/

MotorTrend truck of the year:
https://www.motortrend.com/cars/ram/1500/2019/ram-1500-2019-truck-of-the-year/

Watch any TFL Truck review video and they rave about it.

“Everyone you know”? Do they own a 19 Ram? Rhetorical question because if they did, they wouldn’t tell you not to buy it.

If I woke up this morning and mine disappeared from my driveway, once my insurance check was in hand, I’d be right back to the dealership buying the identical Ram.

Absolutely, I have had no problems in the first 2 months of owning mine. Motor Trend Truck of the Year, and countless other awards will tell you more than everyone else's stigmas about Rams in the past.

No, HELL no I wouldn't buy again. I have purchased TWO new '19 Rams and both have the issue with selecting drive, and then once gas is given, it slams into gear. The first one they wanted to replace the transmission, and luckily my dealer hooked me up on ordering a new one. Low and behold, with only 400 miles and 2 weeks later, my current one is doing it as well. I assume FCA will advise to put a new transmission in this one as well. Probably the same part #, so not really a fix in my opinion since many other forum members are having this same issue.

That coupled with two clear coat paint runs that look like dents, sunroof rattles, interior rattles, interior defects (dash), drain plugs not installed, and rattle in undercarriage when going over bumps, it appears I now have back to back pieces of crap. My advice is to run, run very fast the other way. The fact that Sterling Heights is letting these trucks leave the plant with quality issues a 5 year old could see/hear, is astonishing. I am a reasonable man, and while frustrated am keeping an open mind. However, I have recently been venturing out to other dealers to inspect build quality on other '19's and sure enough, I am amazed at how many trucks are sitting on dealer lots with similar defects. The Ram is a beautiful truck with the best interior of any 1/2 ton. But, IMHO, these trucks are pretty to look at but STILL have crap quality. Everyone told me to run the other way when I purchased my first Ram, and I paid the price for not listening. My advice to you is wait until Fiat sells this company to hopefully a more reputable company that actually cares about quality. Run...…...

I had a few issues, overall though I would buy it again. I think people that say things about other brands are entitled to their opinion but every brand has a service department and every brand has a forum with people screaming about how they are mad their $$ truck shouldn't do this or that. The 2019 RAM has won every possible award so far from the auto publications to TFL trucks on youtube and the problems I had were the clunk and a bad sway bar end link. I was pretty much over it but once it was fixed I fell back in love rather quick.

No other truck compares to the RAM if you ask me. I was about to trade my RAM when I got it bad from being fatigued from service having it a month. I went and drove everything out there. Didn't find anything that dollar to dollar compares. The F150 felt like I was going backwards. Every time I get into my RAM I feel great driving it. I feel like I am in a high end European vehicle.

People do get bad ones but they act as if no other brand does. Do yourself a favor and call your ford dealer and see how long it takes to get an appointment for anything for service. The one I saw had 2 overflow lots full of F150s all newer waiting for service. This is one dealer of probably 25 in Dallas Ft worth area. They are all that way.

Ram is the best truck out by a long ways to me right now and I feel you get more for your money. I have a 2013 I still drive today that hasn't had a single issue it has 100k miles.

Love the look of it inside and out. Love the ride and the features (the ones that work). Hell no I wouldn't buy the same vehicle. A list longer than my arm of issues (many still need addressing) most of which should have been caught at the factory. **** poor quality control and unacceptable at any price. Never had it with any other brand. Its a shame for sure because it's a beautiful vehicle and I love driving it when it's not at the dealer.
