I’ve been curious about that wet coat I seen it on pan the organizers YouTube and he swears by it. I currently use griots ceramic spray and it works really good.

He also swears buy Avalon King and that stuff is trash.
Gyeon ceramic coating only lasted about 6 month, wet coat lasted 3-4 weeks for me.

I liked watching his videos for a while, until I realized he never seemed to dislike anything. Then it all kind of turned into product ads for me. I lost interest. He does have some good tips though, process wise.

i wish i didn't put covers on my LP6s when oncoming traffic wouldn't turn off their high beams when I flash my brights to remind them while in the canyons.

sometimes drastic measure is just for the clueless, i guess.

I thru in an extra hidden switch for my 4 KC Daylighters (385K candle power each) mounted to
a Bar on my '70 BAJA Bug. I just showed the Cop they we not hooked up. But reach under the
Dash and flip the extra switch and they worked. I liked playing the game of who had the
brighter High Beams with oncoming Traffic.

Never lost that game!

at this point I don't even wash my truck regularly anymore.

what's the point of washing it this weekend and then 2 weeks later it's gonna be covered in dirt and dust again... now I just wash it once a month or when I go on long trips and there are dead bug splattered in the front.

And my truck's only 9 months old lol

I don't remember the last time I washed my truck. I will leave it in the rain for a rinse. I do clean off my wheels and do the windows from time to time. That's about it. LOL

Gave her a much needed hand wash this morning.

These Gyeon products are pretty awesome, Wet Coat especially. Went from hardly any beading, to instant beading. Once I run out of the current other products I have I’ll have to switch to more Gyeon stuff.

Agree 100%. I recently switched from CQuartz coatings and tried the Gyeon Evo. They did an absolutely incredible job with the product, no wonder it's now backordered virtually everywhere

Yeah, his channel seems more like a multi product endorsement channel. I think he's getting paid, some many of the product claims he makes are just flat out lies

My truck is white tri-coat pearl. In past I have tried waxing it with various processes. It just doesn’t give off a reflection like darker colors do so no sense in going through all that work to achieve something that’ll never be what I want. I wash it 2-3 times a week sometimes. Summer not so much unless it rains. It gets a cut and polish once a year in the spring when I get the winter fallout removed. You can’t see paint swirls in the surface like a darker color. Maybe I’m that lucky!

Careful doing a cut and polish every year. The clear coat isn't that thick and you will remove it quickly.

I get my detail shop to do whatever it needs. They make the recommendations based on that. I think some years it just gets a sealant after the fallout removal. Truck always looks good though. Whatever they do.
4 years old with 60k and it looks like it just came out of the showroom (almost).

Now you guys are speaking my language. I wash my vehicles once in the spring to remove the winter grime, and every great once in a while when they just get too grimey...

When I lived in town it was about once a week, maybe every other week.

Don't feel bad... some of us wash our trucks with the same initial deliberation and attention to details as opening doors for our ladies.

Why bother washing yer panties if you are just going to soil them again? There are obvious extremes but keeping my truck clean lets me see issues on the truck without becoming larger problems. To each their own path.
