Took 0% financing for 36mo.

I either owe this forum kudos for saving me thousands or owe you all blame for supporting my expense of many more thousands (ha ha hmmm?)

Good luck on the hunt everyone!
I heard u can’t get rebates with 0% financing.

I finally had a good enough deal to purchase today. I spent weeks trying to get a decent deal anywhere within 5 hours of me on a Laramie sport 4x4. Finally got someone to drop the price from 59,666.00 to 47500.00 . I really though based on what others were saying i was going to get a better deal and not have to take a trip to get there! These North East Fl dealers were stengy . But my wife got the exact truck she wanted ! Glad its over so many calls, emails, texts, dealer visits and research. Its tiring.

unless there was a trade involved, and your state has NO sales tax, that is unrealistic.

You would have had to been at 50,000 before taxes, fees, etc. which is 18,500 OFF . . . . . ."not buying it" LOL
Prove me wrong!

I did have a trade.

The MSRP on mine was $54,725. The invoice was around $51,100 we settled on $50,500. I could have squeezed a couple hundred more if I persisted but my wife wanted to be done with the deal. Plus there were no other trucks with similar specs I was looking at within 100 miles..so I didn’t have anything else to consider if we didn’t do a deal.

I got no rebates but did do the Chrysler 0% financing for 72-months, which was really the catalyst to making the purchase now.

Its impossible the dealer gave you 12,000 in rebates....... Possibly COMBINED dealer DISCOUNTS and MANUFACTURER rebates......

7600 discount from dealer and 4250 in rebates. He showed me some figure where Front Gross -1930.00 Suggested that he happened to catch him when he needed to sell 3 more cars for his quota! After seeing all the deals on this forum I really went in thinking I could get more. I was pretty disappointed it took so much work to get this deal

That's what it is and that final price is what I paid. If you don't believe that's fine, but I have my final price and I drove out with that truck. Also, the rebel didn't have nearly as many rebates on it. Rebates are rebates regardless where they come from you can roll them into one giant rebate. All in all with all the rebates not including my discounts it was 12k. It could be because I bought it right before New year's.

My point was . . . . What was the BREAKDOWN?

You stated "Dealer rebates: $12,000".

I'll have to pull out the papers then to see, I know one was like 7k for dealer discount, then there was other things he put on there. I was at that dealership for 6 freaking hours. Maybe they just wanted to get me out near the end of it all. I was there till a little after 6:40pm.

There was a dealer discount and a bunch of rebates that all equalled 12k. I just put the discount as the rebate I guess. The point is, the final price is the end result and it's what matters.

It is actually no different then what Chevrolet does but gm won't let you stack your employer discount with the dealer discount or any other discounts. Also it helped that they actually negotiated further down. The manager was very good to me price wise.

Yeah, its usually good to seperate it, especially when posting in the forum.
Like "combined rebates and discounts" were $XX,XXX ($XXX dealer discount and $XXX Rebates) Sorta throws people for a loop when its not seperated, because we wonder why one got so much, and others don't.

Oh my! SIX hours at the dealership. My blood pressure would have been sky high! LOL

when you say "employer discount"... Are you referring to the "FCA" discount?
