One of the 9287 I love is how large the standard mirrors are. I noticed that the first time I test drove a Rebel.
I was driving into work one day in DC, and I got over the bridge from VA and saw a Ram 1500. The mirrors barely fit in the lane at some points. It made me a little nervous until I saw a car literally drive under the end of the mirror. 😂

Has anyone had their trucked shipped from Louisiana to NY? The carrier is unreachable and based off the RAM app, the truck has been parked in PA for over 24 hours… I would drive to get it myself at this point…

You (and me) seem to be on of the few getting a Limited with Rambox and without Night Edition...can you let us know what bed rails you get? I want to order a cover in advance but seems you need to know your rail setup first...which seems it could be black or silver depending....
It could take up to a week to get there, but I will have the salesman check as soon as it arrives, and let you know. I did get the factory cover so that may make a difference to though.

What are they going to do about it???

They are going to fix it and give me a loaner and all of that crap. But it will go on carfax but i dont plan on giving this truck up. They said if i do it on my own they could only do $500 off because i did the fca reward thing and they not making money on the truck. So i was like ef it just fix it.

Holy smokes! That totally sucks. seems like they would have seen it sooner then detailing. That sticks out like a sore thumb.
im not sure that I would even accept it if they fixed it.
sorry for your luck on that one man. That’s like the cherry on top of a 💩 sundae

I don’t want to wait another 5 months and then the order for the 2024 Ram will be opened. Pretty sure when they drove it from detailing to here it happened. So when he comes back from finding out pricing I’ll ask him.

FCA reward has nothing to do with their profit. If it goes on carfax that reduces value by more than $500. If you tell them order you a new one they won't be able to sell that one with carfax reported damage for thousands less. Use that as leverage, get more off if you don't want to wait.

The problem is that if you wait and order a 2024, it’ll be here in 2026.

Sorry that happened. It's a tough call. If you do reject it and order a new one the good news is things do seem to be moving a lot faster now so perhaps if you ordered a new one you might get it in 3 months instead of the 7+ some have waited who ordered back in Aug. You also might see how the 'fix' comes out and if it's good then take it, if any concerns then reject. Good luck whatever you do. We're with you, brother!

Quick question for you guys, I’m early in the process but somewhat anxious and impatient already lol. From what I’ve read, if I don’t do the factory bed liner I might be able to save some time since it doesn’t have to go somewhere else? And if I’m not in D1 status yet I should still be able to change it? Order was processed 2/7 had VIN 2/9. Might not even be worth it but wondering if the time/chance to do it is right now.

The ram app will tell you where the truck is after its been shipped? Are we talking about the app that can start and unlock the truck.

Well, submitted my second Ram factory order today - a '23 Limited from Koons. My '19 1500 was a lemon but I've had 2 Rams since with good luck so hoping for a good one especially now these are 5 years old. Now the wait begins!

4 days start of build to ship with spray in liner. Probably more of a delay changing anything.
