Have a couple Big Horn/Laramie questions/comparisons.

Using the Ram web site, two trucks were built.
One Big Horn and the other Laramie.
Same packages were selected for each.
Big Horn came to $55,510
Laramie came to $63,985

Question 1 - Is the Laramie worth the extra $8k-$9k?

Question 2 - The Big Horn has the cloth seats. The Laramie has the leather trim.
Does that mean the Laramie is still cloth but with leather trim or are the seats leather?

Question 3 - When comparing these 2 models with the same package, what one item stood out that was worth the upgrade over the Big Horn?
Was it the seats, the rims or some other aspect?

You can get stuff on a Laramie that isn't offered on a Big Horn.

On the website near the bottom there is a link for "standard features" and those show you the options that are not part of the packages. You can compare the 2 side by side if you open that up

My Limited is full leather and it's also marked as leather-trimmed. I believe its a differnet grade of leather, mine says premium and the Laramie just says leather.

At a quick glance looks like the differences are the Laramie can get the GT package, 22" wheels, power running boards (factory installed), Ramboxes, multi-function tailgate, and surround view cameras to name a few

The Ram site won't give you detail of all the differences between the two, you need to do a little more investigating to find them. You don't list which levels/packages you built, but I can tell you I like my Laramie even more that I did my Bighorn, and I liked it alot. The Laramie seats have leather trim combined with leather-look vinyl. They also come heated/ventilated. The cooled seats were one of the big items that I wanted in the Laramie. It also came with factory fender trim that wasn't available on any Big Horn other than the BTS. What all are you looking for in your build?

If those are your priorities then in my opinion save your money and buy a Big Horn. You can probably find a truck that has all of those choices already on a dealer's lot, since they all seem to stock mainly BH's.

I haven't looked if it's available for 2023, but check out a Big Horn with the Back Country package. Interior is different and offers a ton of options.

Passive entry was my biggest reason for not getting another big horn/lone star. Nothing else really bothered me about it. Don’t get me wrong I like my Laramie though.

I kick myself every so often for not getting a Laramie quad cab when I had the chance, pretty sure they're only crew cabs now. Oh well, since upgrading to LED headlights the only thing I'm missing are leather seats which can be solved with Katzkins.

Lack of a passenger power seat is also kind of a bummer on the Bighorn

I traded in a 2019 BigHorn for a 2022 Laramie and almost immediately regretted it. Don’t get me wrong, it’s nicer, but not by a lot. And I am still trying to find the “leather” on the seats. Lol. I had katzkins installed on my BigHorn and they are much, much nicer than the fake leather and “suede” on the Laramie imo. Definitely not worth the difference to me.

Go to Ram website and select 'compare models' you will get a better idea of the differences

Spending the morning going through the list. Very helpful, thanks.
Able to see a feature I wanted but all dealers stated it was only on the Limited, but can see it is indeed on the Laramie.

Which feature?

The Surround-View Camera System which is part of the Advanced Safety Feature.
When inquiring, and not knowing its part of the Advanced Safety Feature, I would ask the dealership which model they had with the Surround-View Camera and none knew.
They just figured it must be part of the Limited.

My vote would be for the granite crystal metallic over patriot blue.
I got the Laramie with granite crystal metallic when I ordered last year but for some weird reason that color is no longer available on the RAM build website.
