And here’s to add to the snow clearing equip part of the thread. we had 5 of these goin with 2 blowers and a sand truck that casts at 105’ width.

Hauled 1520 pounds in the bed of wood pellets. 38 bags at 40pounds: filled the helper bags up to 20psi. Just kinda guess. Haven’t really filled them to haul. Truck Handel great. Road awesome. Was only 15min trip though.

I also installed the Flowmaster FX. It has a little bit of a raspy sound that I mostly hear when standing behind the truck. I'd like to clean that up. Does sealing the resonator holes hwlp with that? Any disadvantages to sealing the holes, like corrosion by not letting moisture out the weep holes?

Sealing the holes does help! Removing the resonators altogether really cleans up the sound a lot too

Agreed, but I can deal with cutting grass. At least it's warm out and I can enjoy a cold beer (or 4) while I do it.

I made some time to install the spacers - 3/4" front, 1" rear.
There were no problems and I didn't have to cut or trim any studs.
I do have to modify some front plastic. There is a little rub at full lock, but it's minor and can wait for warmer weather.

There's about 3/4" of stud protruding past the front 3/4" spacer.
The wheel pocket is about 1" deep, so plenty of room.

I wasn't going for the full poke effect, just enough to make the wheels and tires stand proud.

Yep, in a long-term drought, but short term my area is classified as "abnormally dry".



Another upside besides not having to shovel sunshine - less instances of the dreaded window leaks - but it's also a downside because you're basically assured that by the time you find out you have one, you're out of B2B warranty.

Got out the quick detailer and knocked off the dust and scum from the last few weeks. And greased up the tires.

Got new tires... Again.
Ran over a cargo tie down on the highway used for securing earth moving equipment. Didn't puncture the tire but left a bubble on the right rear.
Also had a nail through the sidewall of the right front so it needed to be replaced.
Tars are rated at 50,000 mi but we're down to the where bars at 30,000.
Discount gave me a mileage warranty adjustment off of $515 then price matched the tires to Walmart's price which was $80 a tire less which they didn't want to do but reluctantly did after I politely disagreed with them.

Ended up paying $603 after prorating for all four versus $1200

Same as previous, Pireli Scorpion AS Plus 3.
I've had Michelin defenders and didn't like those at all and they didn't wear any better. Don't care for Bridgestone so stayed with these

Might double check the wheels after a few miles. My Built to Serve wheels hit the studs even with 1" spacers. They looked like they cleared, but when I removed wheels, there were marks on the wheels from the studs

WHAT??. I guess everyone has their own opinion.
I swear by my Michelin LTX M/S tires. I find them to be a Great highway tire and fantastic in the rain.
Although, I only run mine 3 seasons. Separate winter set of tires.
