Here's a silly question - My dealer tells me that he checked on the status of my truck and that it has an "estimated ship date of 1/11". What does that really mean?

Ship from the assembly plant to the finisher?
Start production?
Ship to the Dealer?
Nothing at all?

have your dealer send you the current poc.

they know and they will tell you if you have a good relationship with them

the form looks like this, see where it states "last event" under "vehicle assignment" this was mine from a about year ago

I try not to pester my sales associate more than about every other week. Well, I’m glad I did today! This also confirms what others have said about the tracker being pointless once the truck gets built. Mine still just shows built but…

I don't tend to ask for many updated POCs - figure I'll get info when there is info to be gotten, but decided to go ahead and ask today - estimated ship date finally showed up, for 1/13/23. No gripe, no desire to rush it along, I'm just happy to see some additional information finally.

your estimated date sounds correct they usually give two weeks advance notice

The holidays definitely aren't helping anything either. While work is being done, I expect zero measurable progress on anything between Dec 23rd and Jan 3rd between the shutdowns, workers taking time off, suppliers taking time off, shippers being low on staff or prioritizing holiday shipping, etc etc etc.

You might not be aware that trucks have been shipping every day for the past week except Christmas (another 6 in my VIN group since this morning); I'd expect that to continue every day except for New Year's.
As explained previously in this thread, SHAP and Shipping have little to do with each other.
I'm still 2+ weeks out from my estimated delivery date, so not sweating it yet.

This is my first post and had a couple questions. First off, a big thank you to those crunching the data and doing all that you do to help us through the wait. Second, I am impressed by all of the information available from Ram. I have previously ordered several Mercedes, Audis, and a Corvette, and none of them provided as much information. Corvette was by far the best of the 3, but that was largely in part to the NCM.

Ok, back to the questions on tracking my new truck. Also, I understand the two updated reports on the first page to see where things are at from an overall production standpoint.

1. I am using the tracking tool on ramtrucks.com, referred to as the pizza tracker, but is there other ways to track? I have seen references to ramchat, but when I tried the link, the automated reply just gave me a link back to ram trucks.com.
2. If I do not sign up for the member tracking tool here, will I be able to get an electronic copy of my build sheet or window sticker in advance?
